GrabHeli offers a helicopter tour of Metro Manila for less

After coming up with GrabBike, a GrabCar for motorcycles, if you may, GrabTaxi has introduced a new service for Metro Manila residents, this time in the form of a 15-minute helicopter tour of Makati, Bonifacio Global City, and Pasay.

GrabHeli, as the service is called, offers fixed flight schedules on Fridays and Saturdays at 4 p.m. and costs P3,900 per person, which is relatively cheap considering an hour aboard a commercial chopper would set you back at least a hundred thousand pesos. Tours can be booked through the GrabiTaxi app, which in turn summons a GrabCar to whisk you to a hangar in Pasay.

While it’s inevitable that GrabHeli will become an air-taxi service soon, for now it sounds like a particularly romantic date idea.

And while it’s inevitable that GrabHeli will become an air-taxi service to and from locations where a helipad is located soon, for now it sounds like a particularly romantic date idea for you and your love. Assuming, of course, neither of you mind sharing a seat with other riders. Plan C for getting around Metro Manila faster will have to wait, I guess.
