Something new from Tecno Mobile Philippines has popped up on Lazada and Shopee.

The Tecno POVA Neo 3 is now listed on the e-commerce platforms with a P6,799 (roughly $120) suggested retail price, although the initial price is set at P6,299 ($111). You can’t purchase the smartphone yet, but the listings show an August 15 launch date.

The Tecno POVA Neo 3 is almost similar to its predecessor, the POVA Neo 2. The two devices are equipped with a 7,000mAh battery with 18-watt Flash Charge technology, a MediaTek Helio G85 processor, a 6.82-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 16-megapixel dual-camera system on the back, an 8-megapixel selfie sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It’s just that the upcoming phone has a different design and runs a user interface that is based on Android 13, not Android 12.

But while last year’s model with 6GB dynamic RAM and 128GB storage was priced at P9,999 ($177) at launch, the Tecno POVA Neo 3 is cheaper — and has more expandable RAM at 8GB at that.
