The timely contribution coincides with the 140th anniversary celebration of Juan Luna’s iconic masterpiece, “Spoliarium,” this National Heritage Month. But the South Korean technology giant’s commitment to the National Museum extends beyond the donation.

“The installation of LG OLED AI TVs illuminates the artistic legacy of the National Museum of Fine Arts,” LG Philippines managing director Nakhyun Seong said. “The partnership between LG and the museum signifies a synergy between cutting-edge technology and timeless artistry. [We are] committed to the National Museum of the Philippines and its causes in the arts, aiming to foster greater appreciation and accessibility to cultural heritage.”

During the event, National Museum director-general Jeremy Barns acknowledged the importance of modernizing cultural institutions for today’s generation: “It’s a challenge for the National Museum today to make museums accessible to the modern generation. The addition of LG OLED AI TVs will greatly enhance our ability to engage visitors and provide them with enriching experiences.”

LG also took the opportunity to highlight its latest advancements in home entertainment, aligning with its vision of “Sync to You, Open to All.”

At the heart of the LG OLED AI TV 2024 lineup, for example, is the Alpha11 AI processor. Because the chip offers four times the performance of its predecessor, it allows LG OLED AI TVs to better recognize users and personalize experiences according to their preferences.

Models like the LG OLED AI B4, LG OLED evo G4, and LG OLED AI C4 cater to diverse needs — from creating a cinematic experience to building the ultimate home theater or optimizing gaming performance.

The event likewise showcased the company’s QNED TVs, which are marketed as a perfect match for sports fans seeking a truly immersive experience, as well as LG Soundbars, which are designed to elevate the surround-sound experience.
