(Update, October 28: These are the articles we published today: Infinix HOT 50 Pro+, HOT 50 priced from P5,999 [$103] for limited time and Infinix HOT 50 Pro+: Could the world’s slimmest gaming phone defy its sub-P9K price? Here are our favorite features)

We already shared our first impressions of the device almost a week ago. And here’s the gist: It’s undeniably sleek at 6.8mm, leading the brand to claim that the HOT 50 Pro+ is “the world’s slimmest gaming smartphone.” It is also incredibly lightweight and comfortable to hold, thanks to Infinix’s TitanWing Architecture. This innovative approach to internal design allowed the company to shrink the motherboard by 24% and incorporate advanced cooling technology while maintaining a thin profile.

Infinix has partnered with Honor of Kings for this, sweetening the deal for Filipino gamers with a themed box sleeve, an exclusive wallpaper, and a raffle card for a local promotion.

Our Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ preview video

Under the HOT 50 Pro+’s hood, a MediaTek Helio G100 processor ensures smooth performance for everyday tasks and casual gaming. And Infinix is so confident in the phone’s long-term performance, backing this HOT 50 series model with a TÜV SÜD 5-Year Fluency Certification.

The Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ also boasts a high-density 5,000mAh battery that supports 33-watt fast wired charging; an IP54 rating; and a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and advanced touch technology that ensures responsiveness even when the screen is wet.

The brand has likewise focused on software enhancements, with features like Power Saving and Performance modes as well as an AI-powered camera with an AI Eraser tool and AI Voice Capture. But the real star of the show is Folax, Infinix’s homegrown AI voice assistant. Folax can do more than just tell you the weather; it can summarize articles, compose emails, and even write complaint letters, like we showed in our “first look” article.

And because this is Infinix, expect pricing that doesn’t break the bank. Think value for money.
