OPPO will announce its next flagship foldable, the OPPO Find N5, very soon, and it’s shaping up to be thin. Like, really thin.

The company’s global launch event is set for February 20 in Singapore, and it’s not being shy about the hype, boasting “The thinnest you can imagine! The thinnest you can’t find!” as the phone’s tagline. Early leaks suggest the OPPO Find N5 could boast a thickness of around 4mm unfolded and 9mm folded — basically in line with your average flagship smartphone.

We’re also expecting the OPPO Find X8 Ultra and OPPO Watch X2, which, notably, is confirmed to introduce a blood-pressure monitor.

While a Philippine release is still up in the air (you should probably don’t hold your breath), the Find N5 might pop up elsewhere. There’s a good chance it will be rebranded as the OnePlus Open 2 in India, the United States, and other markets.

OPPO’s keeping most of the Find N5’s specs under wraps, but it has teased a few key details. The upcoming foldable is expected to offer 50-watt fast wireless charging and impressively robust IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings. Oh, and there’s this: a 3D-printed titanium-alloy hinge. The brand claims it will be an industry first, promising improved durability.

Durable, too

The OPPO Find N5 is also getting some interesting software tricks. It will integrate DeepSeek-R1, accessible via voice commands through the company’s digital assistant. No downloads or complicated setups needed. OPPO has likewise enhanced DeepSeek-R1 with voice search and direct internet access, so you can quickly find the latest news and insights, all hands-free.

Rumors point to the OPPO Find N5 packing a seven-core variant of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, which could provide slightly better efficiency numbers than the full-fledged Snapdragon 8 Elite given the absence of one CPU core. If true, that would make it one of the first smartphones to rock this chip.
