Antutu has just released its latest Android smartphone performance rankings for April 2025, and we have some powerful contenders on the list — plus some notable omissions.
Just a reminder: The scores you’re seeing here are the average scores recorded from April 1 to April 30. So, the results might differ slightly from manufacturer claims or the peak scores you might see online. Think of this as a real-world performance indicator, giving you a better idea of what benchmark numbers to expect before you make a decision.
Also, some recently launched devices, like the HONOR GT Pro gaming phone and the latest RedMagic and ASUS ROG Phone flagships, all powered by Qualcomm’s newest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite, didn’t have enough data this month to be included. Nonetheless, we’ll be keeping an eye out for them in future rankings.
So, let’s get straight to it and see which devices are leading the pack and what’s driving their impressive performance.
Top 10 flagship smartphones: Qualcomm reclaims top spot
It appears Qualcomm is back in the lead, with the vivo X200 Ultra securing the top position with an average Antutu score of an impressive 2,953,489 points. That’s just slightly ahead of its sibling, the vivo X200s, which is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus. These two devices launched together in China last month and are already making an impact.
Taking third place is the Dimensity 9400-powered vivo X200 Pro, followed closely by the iQOO 13 and OPPO Find X8 Ultra, both built around the mighty Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Top 10 sub-flagship smartphones: MediaTek maintains dominance
In the realm of midrange offerings, MediaTek continues to hold a strong position. Eight of the top 10 sub-flagship phones in April 2025 are powered by the Taiwan-based chipmaker. Leading this group is the iQOO Z10 Turbo, achieving an impressive average score of 1,800,196 points. Interestingly, it even outperformed Xiaomi’s Redmi Turbo 4, which previously held the top spot and was the first device to feature the Dimensity 8400-Ultra, a chip that is technically more capable than the standard Dimensity 8400 found in the Z10 Turbo.
Securing the third spot is last year’s OnePlus Ace 3V, with an average of 1,418,257 points. This handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 processor.
Top 10 flagship tablets: Qualcomm leads tablet category
In the tablet market, Qualcomm appears to be in the lead. The OPPO Pad 4 Pro has taken the top spot with an excellent average score of 2,849,493 points, thanks to its Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Following closely is the vivo Pad5 Pro, which is powered by a Dimensity 9400 SoC from MediaTek. It’s a competitive landscape for both Qualcomm and MediaTek-based devices, with only a couple of models packing each chip manufacturer’s cutting-edge mobile processor.
