It’s official: Huawei is bringing the latest iterations of its popular Watch Fit series to the Philippines. On May 22, prepare to greet the Huawei Watch Fit 4 and its more premium sibling, the Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro, as they make their local debut.
While the global stage recently saw these two arrive alongside the Huawei Watch 5, it looks like the Philippine launch event is zeroing in on the rectangular-faced duo for now. And there’s plenty to sink your teeth into with just these two.
Huawei’s sticking with that signature square design for the Watch Fit 4 series, pushing what it calls a “Fashion Active” vibe. It’s all about looking good while you’re getting that workout in or just navigating your day. The Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro, in particular, is tipping the scales lightly with a slim 9.3mm body and a build that includes some decidedly premium materials. We’re talking sapphire glass gracing the screen and a titanium alloy bezel. The standard Watch Fit 4 isn’t a slouch either, coming in at a mere 9.5mm thick and 27 grams, featuring an aluminum case and what’s described as Li-AL-Si glass.
Both models sport a vibrant 1.82-inch AMOLED display, though the Pro edges out the regular version with a brighter 3,000 nits peak brightness compared to the still-respectable 2,000 nits on the standard model. Prepare for those screens to be easily readable even under the harsh Philippine sun.
Beyond the looks, these watches are packed with features for the health- and fitness-obsessed. They’ve got a new air-pressure sensor, expanded water-sports tracking (with the Pro boasting a 40m free-diving mode and EN 13319 certification), dual-satellite GPS for accurate outdoor tracking, and sleep-breathing awareness. The Pro model steps things up further with an ECG sensor and an advanced Golf Course mode, complete with access to over 15,000 global course maps, 3D course effects, and map previews. Think of it as a caddy on your wrist.

Huawei is also baking in some smarts for daily life. Both wearables support features like voice notes and screenshots directly on the device, a first for the Watch Fit series, according to reports. They likewise offer comprehensive health management through the Huawei TruSense System, covering everything from heart rate and stress to ECG and pulse-wave analysis on the Pro. There’s even an Emotional Wellbeing app to help you keep track of your mood.
Battery life is looking solid, with the technology giant claiming up to 10 days on a single charge for both, or around seven days with typical usage. Even with the always-on display rocking, you should still get about four days of juice. Charging is relatively quick, too, with the Huawei Watch Fit 4 hitting full in about 75 minutes and the Huawei Watch 4 Pro in 60 minutes.
Getting your Fit: Early-bird promos
For those eager to get their hands on these smartwatches, Huawei Philippines is already lining up some sweet early-bird deals. You can get free P300 (around $5) vouchers for the Watch Fit 4 series on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok. Just use the code “HUAWEIFIT” on Shopee for that discount. If you prefer the in-store experience, paying a P100 ($2) deposit at any Huawei Experience Store nationwide can net you P700 ($13) off the base model or a more substantial P1,200 ($22) off the Pro one.
As of now, the official local prices for the Huawei Watch Fit 4 and Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro have not been publicly revealed, though last year’s Huawei Watch Fit 3 cost P6,499 ($117) at launch. With the May 22 event just around the corner, expect to hear more concrete pricing details soon.
