Infinix just announced its latest gaming-focused phone — the Infinix GT 30 Pro — in Malaysia. Making its global debut, the GT 30 Pro ushers in the lineup’s most significant hardware overhaul to date, complete with a slew of new features, including a pair of capacitive shoulder triggers tailor-made for shooters and MOBAs.

Adding to its gaming cred, the Infinix GT 30 Pro has also been named the official gaming smartphone of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia Season 16. For Malaysian gamers, the Infinix GT 20 Pro‘s successor will hit shelves with either 256GB or 512GB of storage, retailing for RM1,299 (around $304 or P16,923) and RM1,499 ($351 or P19,529), respectively. Both configurations are paired with 12GB of fast LPDDR5X RAM. For context, the GT 20 Pro was priced at P15,999 ($288) in the Philippines when it launched.

The 256GB model arrives in three distinct color options — Blade White, Shadow Ash, and Dark Flare. The 512GB version, however, is exclusively available in the Dark Flare colorway.

Design-wise, the device continues to rock the Infinix’s mecha-inspired aesthetic, same as its predecessors. The brand also says the GT 30 Pro is built on a CNC-crafted chassis with intricate mechanical textures and a durable composite shell. Around the back, this gaming phone features dynamic backlighting with over 20 lighting effects. But these customizable lights aren’t just for show; they’ll light up for calls, messages, charging, or in-game actions, too, like kills or damage bursts in supported titles.

And like many top-tier gaming smartphones, the Infinix GT 30 Pro now integrates capacitive shoulder triggers, dubbed the GT Triggers by the company. Boasting a responsive 2,160Hz touch-sampling rate, these built-in triggers also pull double-duty as shortcuts for launching apps, taking photos, and controlling media playback.

Under the hood, the unit is powered by MediaTek’s capable Dimensity 8350 5G chipset. Keeping this GT cool even under heavy load is a 3D vapor chamber. It also arrives with bypass charging, which should help preserve battery health by routing power directly to the motherboard, potentially significantly cutting down on heat in the process.

Infinix has also equipped the GT 30 Pro with what it calls the All-Day Full FPS System. This essentially ensures the phone can consistently run certain titles like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang at a solid 120 frames per second — the game’s maximum.

Other notable specs include a 108-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel selfie shooter, and a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with HDR support and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen can get incredibly bright, too, peaking at 4,500 nits. Meanwhile, the battery is rated at a generous 5,500mAh and supports both wired and wireless charging at 45 watts and 30 watts, respectively.
