The Reno14 Series has officially landed in China, bringing with it a pair of new phones, the standard OPPO Reno14 and the beefier OPPO Reno14 Pro. OPPO pulled back the curtain on these devices at an event today, May 15, showcasing upgrades that build on their predecessors.
Gone is the quad-curved screen of the previous generation. The latest smartphones sport flat AMOLED displays. The Reno14 features a 6.59-inch panel, while the Pro bumps it up to 6.83 inches. Both offer a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with 3,840Hz PWM dimming for those sensitive to flicker.
Powering the base model is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350, the same chip found in the Reno13. The Pro model, however, gets a performance boost with the newer, faster MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor. OPPO is also touting a new nano ice crystal heat sink in these smartphones, claiming triple the thermal efficiency compared to older models.

You’ll find plenty of memory and storage options across the board, with both units offering up to 16GB of RAM and a capacious 1TB of storage. OPPO has also included an X1 chip, aimed at giving your network quality a helping hand. The build features a metal frame, and these phones come with some serious dust and water resistance, boasting IP66, IP68, and even IP69 ratings. An optical in-display fingerprint scanner is also present for secure unlocking.
Camera-wise, the OPPO Reno14 and OPPO Reno14 Pro share a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel camera with 3.5x periscope telephoto lens. For taking selfies, there’s a 50-megapixel auto-focus front camera on both. Where they differ is the ultrawide: the more premium device gets a 50-megapixel ultrawide shooter, while the standard one has an 8-megapixel version.

Keeping the lights on are substantial batteries — a 6,000mAh cell in the Reno14 and a slightly larger 6,200mAh in the Reno14 Pro. The two support 80-watt SuperVOOC fast wired charging, and the Pro model adds 50-watt AIRVOOC wireless charging to the mix. They both ship with Android 15 layered with ColorOS 15.
The OPPO Reno14 is available in Reef Black, Pinellia Green, and Mermaid colors. The Pro variant comes in Reef Black, Calla Lily Purple, and Mermaid, featuring a skin-friendly velvet glass finish.
As for how much these will set you back, the Reno14 starts at ¥2,799 (roughly P21,659 or $388) for the 12GB + 256GB model and goes up to ¥3,799 (P29,397 or $527) for the 16GB + 1TB configuration. The Reno14 Pro kicks off at ¥3,499 (P27,074 or $486) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, topping out at ¥4,499 (P34,812 or $624) for the 16GB + 1TB option.
The latest Reno lineup is already up for preorder in China, with the official sale kicking off on May 23.
