The Philippines is gearing up for another contender in the gaming-smartphone arena. Infinix has just announced that the Infinix GT 30 Pro is landing in the country on June 23.
(Update, June 14: We’ve got our Infinix GT 30 Pro first impressions!)
Based on its global launch in Malaysia, the new model is shaping up to be a compelling option for those seeking a performance-focused device without breaking the bank, primarily through its emphasis on two core gaming features: All-Day 120 FPS and GT Triggers. The international version boasts a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 5G chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Graphics are handled by the Mali-G615 MC6 GPU.
The “All-Day Full FPS System” is a key draw here, promising sustained high frame rates in demanding mobile titles. Infinix claims it can keep games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang running at a solid 120 frames per second — the game’s maximum — for extended periods. It’s about maintaining that fluid experience throughout long gaming sessions.
Adding to the immersive gaming experience are the physical GT Triggers, or the Infinix GT 30 Pro’s capacitive shoulder triggers that — when paired with a 2,160Hz touch-sampling rate, 240Hz reporting, and a six-axis gyro sensor — are designed to enable ultra-responsive, motion-based control, enhancing gameplay in racing, shooting, and adventure titles alike. Beyond gaming, they also double as productivity shortcuts for actions like taking photos, launching apps, or controlling media.
Visually, the phone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, capable of reaching 4,500 nits of peak brightness for HDR content. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Powering the Infinix GT 30 Pro is a generous 5,500mAh battery, supported by 45-watt wired fast charging and a notable 30-watt wireless charging, with even reverse wired and wireless charging capabilities. For sustained performance, a 3D vapor cooling chamber is integrated to keep the thermals in check, complemented by bypass charging which directly routes power to the motherboard, minimizing heat buildup during intense gaming sessions.
Rounding out this model’s specs are stereo speakers tuned by JBL, supporting 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res and Hi-Res Wireless audio; a dual rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens; and a 13-megapixel front shooter.
Yes, the Infinix GT 30 Pro is the official tournament phone of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Season 16!
Design-wise, the GT 30 Pro continues the Transsion Holdings sub-brand’s mecha-inspired aesthetic, complete with customizable RGB lighting on the rear that can react to notifications, calls, and even in-game events like kills or damage bursts. It runs on XOS 15 based on Android 15, with Infinix promising up to two major Android OS upgrades and three years of security patches.
Philippine pricing and specific configurations are still under wraps, but if the global price is anything to go by — around $304 or P16,929 for the base model — the Infinix GT 30 Pro could be an attractive option in the competitive midrange segment. For context, the previous GT 20 Pro launched in the Philippines at P15,999 ($287).
