A new member of the POCO F7 Series is officially breaking cover globally on June 24. While Xiaomi‘s POCO has been teasing its impending arrival, the good news for the local market is that the vanilla F7 model is indeed making its way to the Philippines, with early sightings already appearing on Shopee.
Unlike its siblings, the POCO F7 Ultra and POCO F7 Pro, which launched back in March, the standard POCO F7 sports a distinct design, moving to a vertical, pill-shaped dual-camera module on its rear. Early leaks indicate it will arrive in Black, White, and a sleek Silver edition, already pictured in the launch teaser.

The POCO F7 is shaping up to be a formidable contender for those who prioritize screen real estate. It’s expected to feature a rather generous 6.83-inch OLED panel, making it noticeably larger than the 6.67-inch displays found on the Pro and Ultra variants. While the resolution will be a step down at 1,280 x 2,772 pixels compared to the 1440p+ of its higher-end counterparts, it’s far from a compromise. This panel still promises a premium visual experience with 12-bit color support, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. The physical dimensions align with its larger screen, measuring 163.1 x 77.9 x 8.2mm and tipping the scales at 215.7g.
One of the most striking aspects of the POCO F7, particularly for power users, is its rumored battery capacity. The device is said to house a massive 7,550mAh cell, coupled with 90-watt fast charging and 22.5-watt fast reverse charging. This is a significant bump even from the POCO F7 Ultra’s 5,300mAh and POCO F7 Pro’s 6,000mAh batteries. Even in regions like Europe, where a slightly smaller 6,500mAh battery is anticipated, it still outclasses most competitors in the budget-friendly segment, positioning the F7 as a strong candidate for those demanding extended battery life.
They’ve conquered Speed. Power. Performance.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It will ship with HyperOS 2, built on Android 15, and will integrate a suite of AI-powered features, including AI writing, speech recognition, interpretation, subtitles, an AI assistant, an AI eraser tool, and various AI video capabilities.
For photography, the POCO F7 is said to feature a dual-camera setup at the back, headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilization, complemented by an 8-megapixel secondary camera. Selfies will be handled by a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.
While official pricing for the Philippine market is yet to be announced, the global version with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is projected to come with a price tag of under €500 (under P32,725 or $570 converted). Tune in to the livestream to witness the grand unveiling.
