(Update, August 2: Here’s how much the HONOR 400 Pro 5G is in the Philippines!)

Recall that last year’s HONOR 200 Pro landed on the Philippine market with an appealing P29,999 (around $527) price tag for the sole 12GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration. Could the upcoming model follow suit with equally attractive pricing, or perhaps even surprise us with a lower cost? Considering the HONOR 400 5G launched P2,000 ($35) cheaper than its predecessor at local retail, there’s a real possibility the HONOR 400 Pro could be a contender here.

With the smartphone already making its debut in other global markets, its specifications are no secret. So what exactly can we expect under the hood? Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 5G processor, a flagship-level chip that’s just a step below the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite found in Androids like the HONOR Magic7 Pro.

As for the camera system, the HONOR 400 Pro 5G boasts a 200-megapixel main image sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide for versatile shooting. For your selfie, vlogging, and video-calling needs, a 50-megapixel front camera is ready to capture crisp details. On the display front, you’re looking at a stunning 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED screen, delivering a sharp 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz max refresh rate.

HONOR Philippines teases the arrival of the HONOR 400 5G

The brand isn’t just focusing on raw specs. The HONOR 400 Pro’s AI capabilities will be a key selling point when it arrives locally. We saw this emphasis firsthand at MWC 2025 in Barcelona and during our visit to their Beijing office. To be specific, the Pro model is set to highlight features like 50x AI Super Zoom, promising clearer, more detailed shots using the telephoto camera.

Of course, the star of the show might still be the company’s impressive AI Image to Video feature, co-developed with Google’s cutting-edge Veo AI model. This allows users to generate 5-second videos from still images, a truly exciting prospect. Expect other AI-powered functions like AI Eraser, AI Upscale, and AI Outpainting to also be key selling points, further enhancing the user experience.
