Infinix, a brand that has been synonymous with aggressively priced technology, has officially launched its latest budget-friendly tablet, the Infinix XPAD 20, in the Philippines.

Aimed squarely at students, casual gamers, and families looking for a versatile digital companion, the XPAD 20 is being marketed as a device that delivers a “seamless blend of performance, entertainment, and productivity.”

Locally, the tablet is available on Infinix’s official online storefronts on Lazada. Shopee, and TikTok Shop. Pricing starts at a competitive P6,499 (around $115) for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while those needing a bit more multitasking muscle and storage can opt for the 8GB/256GB configuration at P7,499 ($132).

True to the company’s disruptive market strategy, the Infinix XPAD 20 is hitting shelves with a tempting introductory offer. For a limited time, the base model can be purchased for an even more attractive P5,499 ($97). This initial offer makes this XPAD particularly compelling, especially considering its integrated 4G modem. This crucial addition allows for on-the-go internet access and even transforms the tablet into a portable hotspot for your other mobile devices.

This time around, Infinix has opted for MediaTek’s Helio G88 chipset to power the XPAD 20. The choice is hardly surprising given the tablet’s bargain-basement price point. On the software front, the unit runs the brand’s custom overlay, built on top of Android 15, with a commitment to two years of security updates.

What’s intriguing is the integration of several AI-driven features designed with students in mind. These include robust capabilities for translating text, images, and documents, extending even to content encountered on social media platforms like Instagram feeds and WhatsApp chats. Additionally, the preinstalled Folax digital assistant, powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT, offers a convenient tool for students to cross-reference homework answers and review school assignments before submission.

Beyond its core processing and AI smarts, the Infinix XPAD 20 boasts an 11-inch FHD+ display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. A substantial 7,000mAh battery keeps the lights on, supporting 10-watt wired charging and even reverse charging — a particularly handy feature for topping up other gadgets in a pinch. For optics, the tablet is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel shooter up front.
