Get ready to turn up the volume. nubia is officially bringing its latest music-centric smartphone, the nubia Music Pro, to the Philippines, with an exclusive launch event kicking off on TikTok this August 2. And if you’re a content creator or just someone who loves a good beat, the brand is sweetening the deal with a massive #MakeItLouder Dance Challenge offering over P200,000 (roughly $3,430) in prizes.
We at Revü got our hands on previous iterations, the nubia Music in 2024 and the nubia Music 2 in 2025, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The latter eventually launched locally with a P3,999 ($69) price tag. While those models certainly caught our attention for their unique audio focus, we haven’t seen this particular Pro variant until now. You can expect a full review of the nubia Music Pro from us soon.
So what makes the nubia Music Pro special? As the name suggests, it’s all about that sound. The company is positioning this device as a smartphone “built for big sound,” and the specficiations lean into that. It boasts a triple full-range speaker setup, delivering a 2.1-channel audio system. If you’re tired of tinny phone speakers, nubia claims this bad boy can deliver up to a 600% volume boost, along with DTS:X Ultra technology for a rich, cinematic audio experience. For an even more immersive listen, it supports head-tracked spatial audio, and in a fun, visual twist, features AI Melody Breathing Lights that sync with your music.
Beyond the audio prowess, the nubia Music Pro comes with a respectable set of specs. It features a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, you’ll find an octa-core chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. For photography, it sports dual 50-megapixel main and AI rear cameras, complemented by a 5-megapixel front camera. Security is handled by a side fingerprint reader, and keeping everything powered is a 5,000mAh battery. The phone runs on XOS 15, based on Android 15, and will be available in eye-catching Pop Art and Melody Wave color options.

The real buzz is around the #MakeItLouder Dance Challenge, though. Running until August 28, Filipinos are invited to submit their most creative dance videos using the official TikTok sound. With over P200,000 ($3,430) worth of cash prizes, vouchers, and the new smartphone up for grabs, it’s a significant incentive for anyone with rhythm and a TikTok account. One grand prize winner will walk away with P50,000 ($857) cash and a nubia Music Pro, with a second prize of P25,000 ($429) cash and the phone. Eight more winners will get P3,000 ($51) cash and a handset, and 18 participants will receive P888 ($15)-off vouchers for any nubia phone purchase on TikTok Shop. Plus, an additional 10 nubia Music Pro units will be given away as minor prizes. Winners will be drawn live by ONIC PH on nubia Philippines’ TikTok page on September 9.
Country head Lian Zhaojun emphasizes that the campaign is all about empowering Filipino creativity through music and movement. “With the launch of the nubia Music Pro, we’re giving young creators a smartphone that’s built for expression, sound, and standout content,” he adds.
If you’re looking for a device that puts audio first and brings a vibrant, expressive design to the table, this Pro might just be your next daily driver.
