realme has officially debuted its latest number series, the realme 15 5G line, launching it first in India — a market that’s consistently been a bellwether for the brand.
This midrange duo, comprising the realme 15 5G and the realme 15 Pro 5G (there’s no word on a Plus model yet), introduces new AI-powered tools and a large 7,000mAh battery that promises serious endurance on a single charge. Think 22 hours of continuous YouTube playback and 113 hours of Spotify use.
In India, the vanilla realme 15 5G kicks off at ₹25,999 (around $300 or P17,186) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration, topping out at ₹30,999 ($360 or P20,491) for the 12GB/256GB model. The realme 15 Pro 5G, on the other hand, starts at ₹31,999 ($370 or P21,152) with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, climbing to ₹38,999 ($450 or P25,780) if you spring for the top-shelf 12GB/512GB option.
While realme hasn’t confirmed a Philippine launch yet, it’s a safe bet these devices will (hopefully) make their way to local retail shelves. Given the brand’s consistent presence in the country, it’s highly likely we’ll see both the realme 15 5G and its Pro sibling here soon. For reference, last year’s realme 14 5G debuted locally with a P17,999 ($315) starting price, while the realme 14 Pro 5G arrived at P21,999 ($385).
Both realme 15 5G models boast a sprawling 6.8-inch curved-edge OLED display. These aren’t just big; they’re also feature-packed, with a 1.5K resolution, a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 6,500 nits. Beyond the vibrant visuals, the phones are built tough with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, feature stereo speakers, and house a 50-megapixel punch-hole camera upfront for your selfies and video calls.
Color-wise, the standard realme 15 5G comes in Flowing Silver, Velvet Green, and Silk Pink. The realme 15 Pro 5G shares the Flowing Silver and Velvet Green options, adding a Silk Purple variant to the mix. Availability in India begins July 29, according to the company’s official website.

Under the hood, the two models are very different. The realme 15 Pro 5G flexes its muscle with Qualcomm’s relatively new 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 silicon. Meanwhile, the standard realme 15 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Plus chipset. Both processors are expected to deliver fluid performance and solid frame rates even in demanding games. realme, however, is quick to highlight the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 as the “segment’s most powerful chip,” reportedly hitting an impressive 1,100,000 points in Antutu Benchmark.
To complement their massive 7,000mAh batteries, both smartphones support speedy 80-watt fast wired charging. realme claims a full charge in just 61 minutes, with a fast top-up from zero to 50% taking a mere 25 minutes.
The camera systems also differ slightly. The realme 15 Pro 5G steps up with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX896 main sensor paired with a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. The standard edition, on the other hand, opts for a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 unit for its primary camera, alongside an 8-megapixel ultrawide.
Of course, the new AI features are a highlight across the lineup. Apparently, this generation’s standout feature is AI Edit Genie, which lets users make quick photo edits using voice commands. Beyond that, there’s AI Snap mode for capturing up to 50 high-speed shots, and an AI Party mode designed to enhance night photography. The latter aims to help users effortlessly recreate those popular, trendy flash-lit night shots frequently seen on social media.
