TECNO Mobile has officially launched its latest offering, the TECNO Spark Go 2, in the Philippines. Hot on the heels of its Indian debut in June, this new iteration aims to continue the Spark Go’s legacy of delivering compelling features without breaking the bank, a strategy that clearly resonated with the success of its predecessor.
The smartphone arrives with a starting price of P3,299 (roughly $58) for the 3GB RAM/64GB storage variant, while the 3GB/128GB configuration will set you back P3,599 ($63). This pricing positions it quite competitively, especially when compared to the Spark Go 1, which launched with a 3GB/64GB version at P3,499 ($62) and a 4GB/128GB unit at P4,099 ($72). It seems the brand is keen on making the latest model even more accessible, especially with the 128GB option now more affordable.
So what exactly are you getting for your money? On paper, the TECNO Spark Go 2 packs some impressive specs for its price point. We’re talking about a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display that boasts a rather surprising 120Hz refresh rate. That’s a refresh rate you typically don’t see in this price bracket, promising a smoother scrolling and gaming experience. Under the hood, it’s powered by the 12nm Unisoc T7250 4G processor, paired with a Mali-G57 GPU. While it’s the same chipset as its predecessor, it;s still a capable performer for everyday tasks and light gaming.

For photography, the Spark Go 2 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual flash and an 8-megapixel front camera, also with dual flash, which should help in low-light selfies. Other notable hardware inclusions are a side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speakers with DTS tuning (another pleasant surprise for a budget phone), and an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. That last one is a definite upgrade from the Spark Go 1’s IP54 rating and offers a bit more peace of mind against splashes and dust.
The TECNO Spark Go 2 runs on HiOS based on Android 15, which is commendable for an entry-level device to launch with the latest Android version. Highlighted features include TECNO’s in-house AI assistant Ella with content rewriting and image creation and a Free Link app for calls without mobile signal (between Spark Go 2 and POVA models). The company is also promising up to four years of lag-free performance, which is a bold claim for any handset, let alone one in this segment. Powering all of this is a large 5,000mAh battery with 15-watt charging, ensuring you’ll likely get through a full day, if not more, on a single charge.
The TECNO Spark Go 2 is available now at TECNO stores nationwide, as well as online through Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop, making it easily accessible for Filipino consumers looking for a feature-packed device that won’t break the bank.
