More than a year after HONOR‘s last sub-flagship made waves in the Philippines, the HONOR 400 Pro 5G is finally here, arriving with a focus on portrait photography and the same AI smarts as its vanilla sibling that can bring photos to life.

You might recall the buzz surrounding the HONOR 400 5G, which debuted on the local market alongside the company’s newest high-profile celebrity ambassadors, Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto. Now, it’s the Pro variant’s turn in the spotlight. The HONOR 400 Pro 5G aims to carve out its own niche by bringing flagship-level performance to the popular Number Series, setting it apart from the ever-growing competition.

Available in sleek Midnight Black and Lunar Grey, the smartphone hits shelves with a price tag of P32,999 (roughly $571). For those ready to jump in, preorders are now live in the Philippines, sweetened with some tempting freebies:

  • HONOR Choice Earbuds Clip (valued at P4,999 or $87)
  • HONOR High Speed Fan Vimi Sonic 1 Pro (worth P1,099 or $19)

Sounds good? You’ll want to check out our full review, which we’ll be dropping soon, to help you decide if the HONOR 400 Pro 5G is your next daily driver.

Spec-wise, HONOR’s latest release packs a serious punch, featuring Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. That’s a significant leap from the previous generation’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. While the name might suggest a minor bump, don’t be fooled; this chip is an absolute beast for gaming, capable of running even AAA PC titles like The Witcher 3 at high frame rates via emulation.

On the camera front, expect a truly formidable setup. The star of the show is that new 200-megapixel main sensor — a huge upgrade from last year’s 50-megapixel unit — paired with a 50-megapixel telephoto lens offering OIS or optical image stabilization and 3x optical zoom, plus a 12-megapixel ultrawide. For your selfies and video calls, there’s a 50-megapixel front camera working in tandem with a 2-megapixel depth sensor, all neatly tucked into a pill-shaped cutout.

Up front, you’re greeted by a stunning 6.7-inch curved-edge AMOLED display. It boasts a crisp 1.5K resolution, a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 5,000 nits, ensuring great visibility even in direct sunlight. Powering all this is a large 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. Like the regular model, it supports fast 100-watt wired charging. But the HONOR 400 Pro 5G takes it a step further, adding 50-watt proprietary wireless charging to its already impressive resume — a feature its non-Pro sibling lacks.

The real headline here is AI, just like in the regular model. The brand has been going full throttle — from its bold showcase at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, Spain, to the deep-dive demos during our visit to its Beijing headquarters — and the HONOR 400 Pro 5G is the ultimate proof of that push. You’re looking at features like 50x AI Super Zoom for crystal-clear snaps of faraway moments, and the jaw-dropping AI Image to Video, co-developed with Google’s Veo AI. Static photos get a five-second glow-up into animated visuals. And that’s just the start. AI Eraser, AI Upscale, and AI Outpainting round out the smart toolkit, each one aimed at giving your content more polish with way less effort.
