The final piece of HUAWEI‘s new flagship puzzle has just clicked into place. After teasing its arrival last week alongside the launch of its more powerful siblings, the HUAWEI Pura 80 is now officially available for preorder in the Philippines with a price tag of P47,999 (roughly $840).
This completes the Pura 80 series rollout in the country, which began last August 22 with the release of the top-tier, camera-centric HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra (P89,999 or $1,574) and the versatile HUAWEI Pura 80 Pro (P59,999 or $1,049). The standard Pura 80’s arrival now offers a more accessible entry point into the lineup, promising a significant slice of that flagship experience without the higher hit to your wallet.
Here’s what P47,999 ($840) unlocks — and it’s more than just specs.
HUAWEI is putting its best foot forward with the camera, which it calls the Ultra Chroma Camera system. It’s a triple-lens setup headlined by a 50-megapixel main shooter with a variable aperture that can physically switch between f/1.4 for impressive low-light shots and f/4.0 for sharper, more detailed landscapes. This is flanked by a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with OIS or optical image stabilization for steady zoomed-in shots and a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera for when you need to fit more in the frame.

As we noted in our previously shared HUAWEI Pura 80 feature video, the secret sauce is a 1.5M spectral channel sensor that acts like a built-in colorimeter, ensuring that the colors you see in real life are the colors you get in your photos.
Beyond the hardware, the company is leaning on AI to streamline the user experience. You get software tricks like AI Removal to erase photobombers with a tap and AI Best Expression, which scans multiple group shots to ensure no one is blinking or looking away in the final picture. There’s also AI Gesture Control for hands-free scrolling and capturing photos, plus AI Noise Cancellation that promises to keep your calls crystal clear, even if you’re in a noisy airport or a karaoke bar.

The device itself feels decidedly premium. It’s built around a 6.6-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and a frosted glass back that resists fingerprints. HUAWEI says its second-generation Kunlun Glass makes the screen 20 times more resistant to drops. It comes in three minimalist colors: Frosted Gold, Frosted Black, and Frosted White.
Under the Pura 80 hood, you’ll find a 7nm Kirin 9010S 4G chip, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. Keeping things running is a sizable 5,170mAh battery supported by 66-watt wired HUAWEI SuperCharge and 50-watt wireless SuperCharge.
Preorder now with a bundle of freebies
The HUAWEI Pura 80 is available for pre-purchase from today, August 29, until September 11. You can place your order at HUAWEI Experience Stores, the official HUAWEI Online Store, and the brand’s official shops on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok.
To sweeten the deal, HUAWEI is bundling a generous preorder package that includes a free HUAWEI WATCH GT 5, a P5,000 ($87) trade-in token, and HUAWEI Care+ screen-protection services worth P4,799 ($84).
