Following the launch of the Infinix GT 30 Pro in global markets, including the Philippines, Infinix is finally gearing up to unveil the phone’s non-Pro sibling. The Infinix GT 30 — also known as the Infinix GT 30 5G+ — is set to make its official debut on August 8.

While we’ve already seen a steady trickle of specs, the brand is back with even more details ahead of the launch.

In India, the smartphone will be available through Flipkart, with three distinct colorways — Blade White, Cyber Blue, and Pulse Green. Based on the promotional materials, it looks like the Pulse Green variant will be the star of the show this time around.

And just like the Pro model we reviewed in June, the standard Infinix GT 30 sports a mecha-inspired rear design, complete with customizable LED lighting and handy shoulder triggers on the side. These triggers are great for in-game controls, but they can also be programmed for quick actions like launching the camera or controlling video playback.

While pricing for the Indian market is still under wraps, the industry rumor mill predicts a price tag of around ₹20,000, which is roughly $228 or P13,100 converted. This would put it just below the Infinix GT 30 Pro, which launched in the Philippines with an aggressive starting price of P13,999 ($243) for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage kit. The higher-end version, with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, went for P15,999 ($278).

Under the hood, the Infinix GT 30 is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 5G processor, paired with Mali-G615 graphics, 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage. Its 5,500mAh battery supports bypass charging, a feature that lets you power the phone directly from the charger without constantly cycling the battery — perfect for marathon gaming sessions. The company is promising some serious battery life, too, claiming over 20 hours of YouTube streaming and more than 12 hours of Google Maps on a single charge.

For optics, the device packs a triple-camera setup boasting a 64-megapixel main camera with a Sony IMX682 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide, and a 13-megapixel selfie camera. Rounding out the confirmed specs are dual speakers, a 3D vapor chamber for cooling, a six-axis gyroscope, an x-axis linear vibration motor for “immersive haptics,” and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.

It was previously reported that the Infinix GT 30 will feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, similar to the Pro model. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
