Infinix HOT 60 Series release details in the Philippines
Challenge accepted: How thin can you go?
So you’ve seen how incredibly thin the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ is, right? Well, Infinix wants to see if you can top it! The company has also announced the As Thin As This challenge, and everyone’s invited to join the fun.
Here’s how it works: Get those creative juices flowing and take a photo or video of the absolute thinnest thing you can find. Maybe it’s a super-flat coin, a flimsy old receipt, or even just a playing card. Then, pair it with a clever caption that highlights just how slim your find is. Don’t forget to throw in these hashtags: #AsThinAsThis, #PaperThinPowerIn, and #InfinixHOT60Series. And one last thing: Make sure your post is set to public, so everyone can see your entry.
Entries will be accepted from July 18 to August 17, 2025. Winners will be announced shortly after, on August 23, via the brand’s official social media pages. One lucky grand winner will score a brand-new HOT 60 Pro+, while two consolation winners will walk away with exclusive merchandise from the brand. Submissions will be judged on creativity, visual impact, and how well they capture the spirit of the theme. Good luck!
The skinny on the specs
The star of the show, the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+, is making waves with its unprecedented design. Boasting a groundbreaking 5.95mm ultra-slim body, Infinix is setting a new benchmark, calling it the “world’s slimmest 3D-curved screen phone under P9,000 (under $157).” Compared to its predecessor, this new model slims down by 12.5% in thickness and sheds 4.3% of its weight, all while ingeniously packing in a higher-capacity fast-charging battery. The result? An unbelievably portable device that tips the scales at just 155 grams.
Under the hood, both the HOT 60 Pro+ and HOT 60 Pro mark the Philippine debut of MediaTek’s Helio 200 4G chipset. This new silicon combines the Taiwanese chipmaker’s latest advancements with Infinix’s own optimizations, promising a smooth, high-speed, and enduring performance experience. Powering both smartphones is a 5,160mAh battery that’s not just designed for all-day endurance but also for an extended lifespan. With an energy density of 810Wh/L — the highest in Infinix’s history — it delivers 1.08 times more usable energy compared to previous models. Infinix’s lab simulations suggest this battery can withstand 1,800 charging cycles — roughly five years of typical use — while maintaining 80% or more of its original health, ensuring consistent performance over time.
When it’s time to juice up, the duo supports fast 45-watt wired charging. Infinix claims you can go from 1% to 50% in a mere 23 minutes, with a full charge achieved in just 55 minutes. That’s a noticeable leap from the previous generation’s 33-watt charging, meaning less time tethered to an outlet and more time on the go.
