The OPPO Reno14 Series 5G is scheduled to release in the Philippines on August 8, but if you’re already itching to get your hands on one, preorders are now live at select retailers nationwide.
First unveiled in May, the lineup — comprising the OPPO Reno14 5G, OPPO Reno14 Pro 5G, and the latest addition, the OPPO Reno14 F 5G — is up for preorder until August 21. Early birds who reserve their device will receive a sweet bundle of freebies, including:
- a free pair of OPPO Enco Buds 2 worth P1,799 (roughly $31);
- one year of OPPO Care warranty coverage, including water and screen damage, valued at P2,999 ($52); and
- a P1,000 ($17) discount on the reserved device.
As a bonus, the first 500 customers to purchase the Reno14 Pro 5G will also receive a free Casio sports watch. OPPO isn’t stopping there either. Until September 21, you can bundle the Reno14 Series 5G with the OPPO Pad SE tablet and OPPO Watch X2 Mini smartwatch and save up to P2,000 ($34). Just a heads-up: The company is currently only offering blind preorders in the country, as local pricing details for the Philippine market are still under wraps.
We took the standard variant for a spin in Bohol, primarily to put its camera through its paces. And as expected, OPPO’s imaging prowess didn’t disappoint. We were particularly impressed with the Reno14 5G’s underwater camera mode, which lets you capture crisp 4K videos at 30 frames per second even when the phone is fully submerged. Expect our full, in-depth review once the embargo lifts later this month.

Drawing from their initial launch, both the OPPO Reno14 Pro 5G and OPPO Reno14 5G boast flat AMOLED displays with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,200 nits of peak brightness, all protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Under the hood, the standard Reno14 packs a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8350, while the Pro variant kicks things up a notch with the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8450, also built on a 4nm process. Both processors are paired with up to 12GB of physical RAM and 512GB of internal storage, and come with advanced cooling courtesy of a “nano ice crystal” heat sink. The two will ship with Android 15 layered with OPPO’s custom ColorOS 15.
For optics, both smartphones share a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. Selfies are handled by a 50-megapixel autofocus front camera across the board. The main differentiator lies in the ultrawide camera — the Pro model gets a beefy 50-megapixel sensor compared to the standard model’s 8-megapixel. It also gets a periscope lens for its telephoto unit.
Keeping these devices juiced are 6,000mAh (regular model) and 6,200mAh (Pro) batteries, both supporting fast 80-watt SuperVOOC wired charging. The Pro, however, adds the convenience of 50-watt AIRVOOC proprietary wireless charging.
The OPPO Reno14 F 5G, a fresh face in the series, distinguishes itself with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, likely arriving with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage in the Philippines. It sports a 6.57-inch FullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display. Its camera system includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide, and a 2-megapixel macro lens, complemented by a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Powering the whole ensemble is a 6,000mAh battery backup with support for 45-watt wired charging.
