realme, a technology brand that currently has over 300 million users worldwide, is celebrating its seventh anniversary with a focus on two of the biggest pain points for mobile users: battery life and thermal management.
The brand also marked the occasion with its local FanFest 2025: REALmix in the Philippines, which kicked off on August 2. A highlight of the event was the Real Soundtrack Songwriting Contest, where AZ Alcantara took home the grand prize of P300,000 (approximately $5,264) for his winning song, I Am Real, plus the change for the track to be professionally recorded and used as the official theme for realme’s upcoming holiday campaign in the country.
A look at realme’s latest innovations: 15,000mAh battery and the realme Chill Fan Phone
At the recent realme Global Fan Festival, the company unveiled two new smartphone concepts designed to push the boundaries of smartphone technology. The first focuses on unprecedented battery life, while the second promises superior thermal performance.
realme’s first innovation is a 15,000mAh ultra-high-density cell — easily the largest ever in a realme device. The brand claims it’s the first to use a “full-silicon anode material,” which reportedly gives it the highest energy density of any phone battery on the market, as well as four times the silicon content compared to what you’ll find in most silicon-carbon smartphone batteries.
realme 15000mAh, that’s equivalent to the nearly combined capacities of an iPhone 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16—all together in one device!

realme estimates the battery can last up to five days on a single charge and support up to 18 hours of continuous video recording or 50 hours of video playback. It also revealed that the battery measures just 6.48mm and can actually be used as a power bank, thanks to its reverse-charging capabilities.
The handset itself is said to be powered by a power-efficient MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G chipset, and packs a 6.7-inch display.
The second concept — aptly named the realme Chill Fan Phone — is a first-of-its-kind device that integrates a “built-in AC inside,” featuring a spinning fan for heat dissipation, a large vapor chamber, and thermoelectric-cooling technology. This system is designed to lower the device’s temperature by as much as 6 degrees Celsius, ensuring smoother performance during intensive tasks like gaming. The brand specifically highlighted its ability to handle graphically demanding titles like Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact, both known for pushing mobile devices to their limits.
Say hello to the realme Chill Fan Phone, the world’s first “AC” phone! Game cooler with up to 6°C reduction in core temperature, and the AC feature works just like a regular air conditioner—you can turn it on and off as you please.

By focusing on these two critical areas, realme is reinforcing its commitment to its youthful user base, who rely on their smartphones for everything from gaming and streaming to content creation. These concepts represent its efforts to deliver a more reliable and seamless mobile experience by directly addressing the common problems of battery anxiety and overheating.
As to whether or not these concepts will ever make their way to a commercial device, realme clarified that they are purely conceptual at this stage and are intended to showcase the company’s research and development capabilities. It doesn’t have any immediate plans for a commercial release.
