Samsung is continuing its push for accessible tech in the Philippines, with its latest A-series phones, the Samsung Galaxy A17 and Samsung Galaxy A07, now available for purchase even if they have not been officially launched worldwide just yet.

While a few models have been spotted on Lazada, they were all listed as “out of stock” until now. However, if you’re looking to get your hands on one immediately, it’s the Samsung store on Shopee where you’ll find the stock ready to go.

The initial rollout includes the Galaxy A17 5G and the Galaxy A07 LTE on Shopee, with the Galaxy A17 LTE model also joining the lineup on Lazada, though they’re still not up for sale.

Samsung Galaxy A17 5G

The Galaxy A17 5G is the star of the show, bringing some premium features to a sub-P14,000 (approximately $247 or less) price point. At its core is the company’s own 5nm Exynos 1330 5G processor. There’s also real appeal in the display and camera: a 6.7-inch 90Hz Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus protection and a 50-megapixel main camera that’s been upgraded with optical image stabilization. That main shooter is complemented by a 5-megapixel ultrawide and a 2-megapixel macro lens, while a 13-megapixel camera handles selfies.

It’s all powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25-watt fast charging, and with an IP54 rating, it can handle a few splashes without a problem. Just as impressively, Samsung is promising six major OS updates and six years of security patches, making it a very future-proof device.

Samsung Galaxy A17 LTE

For those who don’t need 5G, the 4G version offers a similar experience with a few key differences. It swaps out the Exynos chip for a 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 4G processor.

The rest of the specs remain largely the same as its 5G sibling: a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, the same triple-camera setup with OIS, and a 13-megapixel front camera. The Galaxy A17 LTE has a 5,000mAh battery with 25-watt fast charging and an IP54 rating as well. Like the 5G variant, it runs on One UI 7 based on Android 15.

Samsung Galaxy A07 LTE

If you’re looking for the Korean technology giant’s most affordable new offering, the Galaxy A07 LTE is it. It comes with a 6.7-inch LCD display, which still sports a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it’s powered by the 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, the same as the Galaxy A17 LTE.

The camera setup is a dual-camera system with a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens, while selfies are handled by an 8-megapixel front camera. It likewise has a 5,000mAh battery with 25-watt fast charging and an IP54 rating for peace of mind.
