After its debut in India back in July, realme‘s latest number series is finally heading to local shores.
The company recently took to social media to announce that the realme 15 Series 5G will officially launch in the Philippines soon, and it’s bringing some serious battery endurance with it.
This new midrange duo, which includes the standard realme 15 5G and realme 15 Pro 5G, packs a 7,000mAh battery backup. The brand claims this massive cell can deliver up to 22 hours of continuous YouTube playback or a staggering 113 hours of Spotify use on a single charge. The new lineup also introduces a fresh set of AI-powered tools you can play around with, but more on that later.
While the official launch date is still under wraps, you can already preorder the realme 15 Series 5G until September 26 at realme stores and partner retailers nationwide. As a bonus, you can get freebies worth up to P3,897 (around $68), including a TechLife Smart Band Fit, TechLife Clip-On Earbuds 2, and a full year of the brand’s Screen Damage Protection Plan.
For some context on pricing, the regular realme 15 5G debuted in India at ₹25,999 (P16,885 or $295) for the 8GB/128GB configuration, while the Pro model was priced from ₹31,999 (P20,781 or $363) at launch. We have a 12GB/256GB unit of the Pro version in for review, but there’s no word yet if this specific configuration will be available locally.

In any case, both smartphones boast a sprawling 6.8-inch curved-edge AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 6,500 nits. Beyond the vibrant visuals, the devices are built tough with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance and feature stereo speakers and a 50-megapixel front camera for all your selfie needs.
Under the hood, the two models take different paths. The realme 15 Pro 5G flexes its muscle with Qualcomm’s new 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip. Meanwhile, the vanilla realme 15 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Plus SoC. Both processors are expected to deliver fluid performance, even in demanding games. realme, however, is quick to highlight the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 as the “segment’s most powerful chip,” capable of hitting an impressive 1,100,000 points on Antutu — a claim we can personally confirm with our review unit, which scored over a million.
The camera systems see a couple of notable tweaks as well. The Pro model steps up with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX896 main sensor paired with a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. The standard edition, on the other hand, opts for a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor alongside an 8-megapixel ultrawide.
To complement their massive batteries, both phones support 80-watt fast wired charging. The brand claims a full charge in just 61 minutes, with a quick top-up from zero to 50% taking a mere 25 minutes.
Finally, the new AI features are a key highlight across the lineup. This generation’s standout feature is AI Edit Genie, which lets users make quick photo edits using voice commands. There’s also AI Snap mode for capturing up to 50 high-speed shots, and an AI Party mode designed to enhance night photography and help you effortlessly recreate those popular, flash-lit night shots you see all over social media.
