It’s official: Xiaomi has just launched its latest T Series sub-flagships, and they’re poised to shake up the market.

The Xiaomi 15T Pro and Xiaomi 15T have made their global debut and are now set to land in the Philippines. These smartphones are all about delivering that flagship experience — from the clean and elegant aluminum design to their raw power and enhanced camera systems — without demanding a flagship price tag.

The big question, as always, is whether to go for the Pro or the standard model. The answer boils down to how much you’re willing to spend for high-end perks — like a beefier processor in the Pro’s MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus 3nm chip, faster charging, and a more capable all-around camera system.

Both phones are built around a gorgeous 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. With slim bezels, a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, 3,200 nits of peak brightness, and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, it’s a visual feast that’s ready for any content. They’re also powered by a large 5,500mAh battery and run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2, promising a long life with five major OS updates and six years of security patches.

Software is where Xiaomi is truly pushing the envelope. A HyperOS 3 update — based on Android 16 — is scheduled for November and promises a wave of new AI-powered features. Even from day one, both the Xiaomi 15T Pro and Xiaomi 15T come loaded with tools like AI Writing, AI Speech Recognition, and AI Gallery Search, designed to make everyday tasks easier. There’s also a fascinating new feature called Xiaomi Offline Communication, which enables device-to-device voice calls without a cellular or Wi-Fi signal. For now, it’s exclusive to the just-launched lineup and future Xiaomi phones.

But it wouldn’t be a Xiaomi event without a whole lot more. The company also rolled out the 41mm Xiaomi Watch S4 smartwatch, the Xiaomi Band 10, the audio-focused Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo Pro, and a suite of AIoT products. For a final touch of elegance, a new Gold collection offers an exclusive colorway across some of the latest devices.

The most exciting upgrade for us: the Leica 5x Pro telephoto lens

We’ve already got our hands on the Xiaomi 15T Pro, and the verdict is dropping tomorrow, September 25, when the review embargo lifts. The tagline for this series is “Masterpieces far closer,” a direct nod to its most significant upgrade: an enhanced Leica-branded camera setup with a new 50-megapixel image sensor and, for the first time in the T Series, a 5x periscope-telephoto lens. This promises to unlock a new level of versatility, from detailed portraits to long-distance shots. Check back here to see if it truly lives up to the hype.

So how much are these two smartphones? In Europe where consumer electronics is usually more expensive, the Pro model is priced from €799 (around P53,979 or $938) and the standard version costs from €649 (P43,845 or $762). Local pricing should be revealed tomorrow. Stay tuned.
