Xiaomi‘s Redmi sub-brand is making another assertive play for the Philippine market, this time with the Redmi 15C.
The smartphone, which you can already purchase on Shopee and in physical retail stores, lands with a price point that makes a strong case for its bang-for-the-buck value proposition. It starts at just P5,299 (roughly $93) for the 4GB/128GB model, climbs to P5,799 ($102) for the 6GB/128GB option, and tops out at P6,599 ($116) for the 8GB/256GB variant.
On paper, the Redmi 15C seems built for one thing: longevity. Its standout feature is a large 6,000mAh battery. Combined with 33-watt fast charging capable of reaching 50% in just over half an hour, the phone promises to be a power fortress. It can supposedly deliver up to 82 hours of music playback or 22 hours of video. This is a deliberate design choice that speaks directly to a user base that prioritizes endurance over premium bells and whistles.

Redmi 15C unboxing
At its core, the Redmi 15C is designed with a set of specifications that cater to its price point. The unit sports a sizable 6.9-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering it is the MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra, a processor built to handle everyday tasks and provide a reliable foundation for the user experience. And on the back, you’ll find a 50-megapixel AI main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, capable of 1080p video and enhanced modes like Night Mode, HDR, and Time-Lapse. Meanwhile, the 8-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The smartphone also arrives with a sleek 7.99mm profile in Midnight Black, Mint Green, Moonlight Blue, and Twilight Orange; IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance; and Android 15-based Xiaomi HyperOS 2.
With the Redmi 15C, Xiaomi’s pitch is clear: more battery and more screen, without breaking the P7,000 ($123) ceiling.
