Preorders for the OnePlus 15 are now live in the Philippines, following its global unveiling.
Digital Walker, a local retailer and authorized OnePlus distributor, has released the official pricing and preorder details for OnePlus‘ latest flagship smartphone.
The OnePlus 15 will be offered in two distinct configurations: a 12GB/256GB model priced at P49,990 (around $848) and a 16GB/512GB version retailing for P54,990 ($933). Considering the absence of expandable storage in both variants, the generous physical RAM in the upgraded unit, and the palatable price difference between the two, opting for the latter is pretty much a no-brainer.
Not to mention, the top-end 16GB/512GB configuration uses LPDDR5X Ultra Plus memory, which is currently as good as it gets in the industry.
Preorders for the OnePlus 15 will be accepted until November 23 at designated Digital Walker stores across the Philippines. Additionally, those who prefer the convenience of online shopping can place their orders through the retailer’s official Shopee store. Customers who preorder will receive freebies valued at P6,370 ($108), which include an aramid-fiber magnetic case, a screen protector, and a 100-watt SUPERVOOC fast charger.
OnePlus 15 pricing and preorder details
Regarding the device itself, OnePlus has made some bold trade-offs, dropping its partnership with an imaging icon and QHD+ display for a slew of IP ratings, a sleeker ceramic body that feels absolutely great in the hand, and a gigantic battery.
The OnePlus 15 packs a massive 7,300mAh Silicon NanoStack battery — easily one of the largest you’ll find in a flagship handset today, dwarfing most of the competition. Meanwhile, the long-standing partnership with Hasselblad is officially gone. In its place, the OPPO sub-brand is leaning on its own in-house technology: the DetailMax Engine.
Unfortunately, all three rear camera sensors are physically smaller than those on last year’s OnePlus 13, and the apertures are narrower this time around, too. This fundamental change means the sensors capture less light, which could lead to the cameras producing images with more noise, less detail, and a general lack of sharpness compared to top-tier flagships and even the previous generation.
Under the hood sits Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, built on TSMC’s improved 3nm process. And to keep things from getting too hot under pressure, the OnePlus 15 introduces a new Glacier cooling system with a large vapor chamber and aerospace-grade aerogel insulation, a cherry on top for gamers.
Up front, you’ll be looking at a flat 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. While the resolution has technically dropped to 1.5K from the previous 2K, it’s an optimization aimed at balancing clarity and power efficiency for extended gaming sessions.
We personally got some hands-on time with the OnePlus 15 in China, and we’ll admit that the hardware does feel promising. It’s much cheaper there, too, with the base model going for only ¥3,799 (P31,495 or $534) after a government subsidy.
Made to move things forward. #OnePlus15
