Just a couple of months ago, OPPO launched the Reno14 Series 5G in the Philippines and other markets. Now, apparently, its successor is on the way.
The company has officially confirmed that the OPPO Reno15 line — likely comprising the vanilla OPPO Reno15 and the beefier OPPO Reno15 Pro — will debut in China on November 10. Reports also suggest an OPPO Reno15 Mini is tagging along, potentially inheriting the Pro’s cameras and chipset but shrinking everything down to a far more hand-friendly size sporting a 6.31-inch OLED display.
While OPPO kept the actual phone under wraps in the teaser, leaker Digital Chat Station has already shared what is supposedly the Reno15’s rear camera module. The image reveals three distinct camera rings flanking a dual-LED flash, all housed within a square-ish island that mimics last year’s design language. The leaker claims this island uses a cold-carving process to deliver a more premium look and feel.
Importantly, both models are tipped to feature the 200-megapixel primary sensor — widely reported to be Samsung’s ISOCELL HP5 unit. This is a big deal, as the HP5 is marketed as the world’s first mobile sensor with 0.5µm-sized pixels. In theory, this means low-light performance will jump, delivering images that are both brighter and sharper.

Samsung achieves this using proprietary technology like Front Deep Trench Isolation and Dual Vertical Transfer Gate, designed to maximize light and detail capture per pixel. Furthermore, the sensor reportedly leverages improved DTI Center Cut tech to ensure brighter, cleaner output despite the pixel density.
In any case, we expect the full camera reveal during the brand’s keynote. If you’re curious about the chipset, though, the entire OPPO Reno15 Series is tipped to run on a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 5G processor, the same chip found in last year’s OPPO Reno14 Pro.
