RedMagic 11 Pro with world’s first active liquid-cooling system launches globally

RedMagic, the gaming-focused sibling of nubia, has officially unleashed the RedMagic 11 Pro on the global market. The phone made its initial debut in China a couple of weeks back, but now it’s here, and it’s pairing the bleeding-edge silicon from Qualcomm with an active cooling system that sounds like something the brand yanked out of a high-end gaming PC.

The RedMagic 11 Pro is unapologetically built for maxing out performance. At its core is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, built on TSMC’s 3nm N3P node and pushing a peak frequency of 4.6GHz. That’s not all. It has the dedicated RedCore R4 gaming chip running auxiliary duty for thermal management and enhanced in-game effects. Rounding out the firepower is impressive memory and storage, with configurations topping out at 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and a large 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage.

A liquid-cooled, notch-free powerhouse

The AquaCore Cooling System is the main event here. RedMagic is claiming this is the first mass-produced smartphone to actually integrate flowing fluorinated liquid cooling. Seriously. This industry-first design works in tandem with the largest vapor chambers in the industry — a 13,116mm2 4D VC design — and a 24,000 RPM waterproof TurboFan to keep everything frosty, even when you’re deep into a Genshin Impact session. The whole assembly is completely sealed and uses AI-server-grade, non-conductive fluorinated liquid to ensure safety and stability.

You’ll be doing all your fragging on a 6.85-inch BOE X10 AMOLED Full Screen Display with a 2,688 x 1,216 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The best part? It uses an underscreen camera and ultraslim bezels, giving you a true, uninterrupted cinematic view — no notches, no punch-holes, just all screen. For competitive play, the panel features a 360Hz multi-finger touch sampling rate and a 3,000Hz instantaneous touch response, complemented by physical, responsive 520Hz shoulder triggers.

To keep the RedMagic 11 Pro running, the company included a huge 7,500mAh battery that supports both 80-watt wired and wireless fast charging. The wireless option is a first for the brand, and it even offers two-way reverse charging.

On the software side, this model runs on RedMagic OS 11 and includes the brand’s proprietary MORA intelligent virtual assistant, plus a full integration of Google Gemini. And for daily use, it packs a respectable triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization or OIS and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. You also get an IPX8 water resistance rating and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
