The smartphone year isn’t over yet. HONOR has confirmed it is debuting its new WIN series — comprising the flagship HONOR WIN and the more accessible HONOR WIN RT — on December 26. Based on the confirmed specs the company is teasing, these models are shaping up to be HONOR’s biggest, and most aggressive, releases ever.
However, those outside China should manage their expectations regarding availability. While the launch is confirmed for the Chinese market, there is currently no official word on whether the HONOR WIN or WIN RT will eventually land in the Philippines or other international markets.
Availability aside, the most impressive spec confirmed recently is undoubtedly the battery. True to recent leaks, the HONOR WIN lineup will indeed pack a huge 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, beating the brand’s own HONOR X9d 5G and its 8,300mAh cell. What’s notable here isn’t just the capacity, but the form factor itself. HONOR has managed to fit this tank of a battery into a chassis that is no bulkier than current phones carrying 7,000mAh cells.

Actual HONOR WIN and HONOR WIN RT units
The flagship HONOR WIN will run on Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The company is already boasting an Antutu benchmark score of over 4.4 million points, placing it firmly at the top of the performance charts. The more affordable HONOR WIN RT model isn’t far behind, likely sporting the standard Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. To keep that power in check, the more superior variant will feature a built-in fan alongside three rear-facing cameras.
Up front, the HONOR WIN features a 6.85-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate, putting it on a par with other gaming-focused flagships like the ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro.
The company is also doubling down on durability and security. The series is confirmed to carry IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, offering top-tier protection against dust, high-temperature water jets, and immersion. For security, both smartphones will use an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for faster, more reliable unlocking.
We will know the prices and — hopefully — global release details when the HONOR WIN series officially launches this week. For now, color us intrigued.
