While HONOR is gearing up to introduce its “toughest phone” yet to the Philippine market, the company has just taken the wraps off something entirely different in China. As promised, HONOR officially launched its latest gaming-focused lineup — the HONOR WIN and HONOR WIN RT.
Visually, the two devices are nearly indistinguishable, sporting a rugged metal frame and a pretty minimalist backplate, available in black, blue, and white colors. The obvious differentiator lies on the camera module. The flagship WIN model houses a triple-camera array, whereas the more accessible WIN RT variant opts for a dual-camera setup.
HONOR has yet to confirm global availability for the series. However, given strict American and European regulations that often limit battery capacities in consumer electronics, an international release may be restricted primarily to other Asian markets, which may or may not include the Philippines. For now, the devices are exclusive to China with the following pricing structure:
- HONOR WIN
- 12GB/256GB: 3,999 Chinese yuan (around $569 or 33,498 Philippine pesos)
- 12GB/512GB: 4,499 yuan ($640 or 37,686 Philippine pesos)
- 16GB/512GB: 4,799 yuan ($682 or 40,199 Philippine pesos)
- 16GB/1TB: 5,299 yuan ($754 or 44,388 Philippine pesos)
- HONOR WIN RT
- 12GB/256GB: 2,699 yuan ($384 or 22,608 Philippine pesos)
- 16GB/256GB: 2,999 yuan ($426 or 25,121 Philippine pesos)
- 12GB/512GB: 3,099 yuan ($440 or 25,959 Philippine pesos)
- 16GB/512GB: 3,399 yuan ($483 or 28,472 Philippine pesos)
- 16GB/1TB: 3,999 yuan ($569 or 33,498 Philippine pesos)
We think the real head-turner here isn’t the price or the design; it’s the battery backup. Both handsets are equipped with a staggering 10,000mAh third-generation silicon-carbon battery. And despite this huge capacity, the chassis is only 8.3mm thick and weighs just 229 grams, essentially making it thinner and lighter than the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max while packing a battery twice as large.
This is easily the highest capacity we’ve seen on a modern smartphone, promising endurance that could likely last through marathon gaming sessions without breaking a sweat. According to HONOR, the WIN’s 10,000mAh cell delivers up to 16.4 hours of continuous gaming and 31.3 hours of video streaming on a single charge. When the battery eventually runs dry, the standard WIN tops up via 100-watt fast wired charging, while the RT version supports an 80-watt standard.
Those massive cells power some serious display tech, too. Both units pack a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED panel boasting a 185Hz refresh rate, matching the highest available on gaming phones like the ASUS ROG Phone 9 Pro. To keep visuals comfortable during long gaming and viewing sessions, HONOR has included 5920Hz PWM dimming. And for competitive gamers, the screen’s 3500Hz touch-sampling rate ensures low latency for aiming and movement in supported titles.
Under the hood, the HONOR WIN runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform. By contrast, the HONOR WIN RT is built around the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the silicon that powered many of last year’s Android flagships. Both can be configured with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Only Honor can pull off something like this. The Dongfeng Turbine cooling system—can you even see it against the black background? This is real, solid heat dissipation performance; it can handle even the highest temperatures. #HonorWIN #GamingPhone #GamingPhoneCeiling pic.twitter.com/BZDSuOGEyX

Watch: The built-in active cooling fan in action
To manage the thermal output of these high-performance chips, HONOR has integrated a built-in active cooling fan capable of spinning up to an impressive 25,000 RPM. According to the brand, this results in a significant drop in device temperature under load. Furthermore, despite the moving parts and open vents usually associated with active cooling, both smartphones have secured IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
On the imaging front, the duo shares a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel front-facing shooter for streaming or selfies. The WIN adds a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with up to 3x optical zoom, making it the more versatile shooter of the pair.
