Xiaomi has announced its holiday strategy for the Philippines, and it’s effectively splitting the deals into two buckets: a short, aggressive online rush for 12.12, and a longer, offline-focused “Christmas Carnival” that runs until January 2026.
Here is the breakdown of what matters, what’s actually a steal, and where you need to be to get it.
The 12.12 sale: POCO and online exclusives
If you’re looking for the biggest price drops, you are likely looking for the online sales on Shopee and Lazada. This is a tight window: The 12.12 Christmas Sale kicks off at 8 p.m. on December 11 and wraps up on December 14.
The headline here is Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO. This is where the performance-per-peso ratio gets ridiculous. The POCO F8 Ultra with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 device that effectively chases flagship performance, is dropping to P40,999 (roughly $694) from P42,999 ($728). For a more affordable option, the POCO X7 Pro is hitting P16,599 ($281), a significant drop from its nearly P20,000 (almost $340) suggested retail price.
On the main Xiaomi side, one of the standout online deals is the Xiaomi 15T with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It’s listed at P24,999 ($423) for the sale. Considering the T Series usually bridges the gap between midrange and premium, getting it under P25,000 makes it a strong contender for the “default recommendation” for most users.
For the budget-conscious, the base model REDMI Note 14 is down to P7,499 ($127). It’s a solid entry point, but keep reading, because the Pro model has a different deal going on offline.
The Carnival: Retail availability and that huge TV
If you prefer walking into a store, checking the display unit, and walking out with the device immediately, you’re looking at the Xiaomi Christmas Carnival. This runs longer — December 12, 2025, to January 4, 2026 — and covers official Xiaomi Stores and authorized resellers.
The pricing strategy here is slightly different. The flagship Xiaomi 15 gets a P5,000 ($85) price cut, bringing it down to P40,999 ($694). Interestingly, this puts the premium Xiaomi 15 at the exact same price point as the performance-focused POCO F8 Ultra mentioned above. Our thoughts? Buy the Xiaomi 15 in-store if you care about a more compact build; purchase the POCO F8 Ultra online for everything else.
The offline promo also highlights the REDMI Note 14 Pro, discounted to P21,999 ($372).
Xiaomi is trying to sweeten the offline pot with two extras:
- The freebie. A 1-month Viu Premium subscription comes with every smartphone or tablet purchase.
- The highlight. Buying any device worth at least P10,000 ($169) gets you a raffle entry for an 85-inch Xiaomi Smart Display Max. They are giving away 10 of these, which are valued at nearly P70,000 ($1,185) each.
If you know exactly what you want — especially if it’s a POCO or an AIoT appliance like the Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite (down to P5,299 or $90) — camp out on the Lazada and Shopee apps on the evening of December 11. If you want the flagship Xiaomi 15 or want to gamble on winning a TV the size of a ping-pong table, head to the mall starting December 12.
