If you’ve been holding onto your wallet waiting for Xiaomi‘s next big midrange king, you can officially start the countdown. We’ve spotted the global launch date for the REDMI Note 15 Series, and it’s happening Jan. 15, 2026.
Full disclosure: We at REVU already got the top-tier Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G in our labs, and we’re currently putting it through its paces to see if that huge battery and 200-megapixel camera actually live up to the hype. We’ll have our unboxing and full verdict ready for you soon, but for now, here is everything we know about the upcoming launch.
While Xiaomi hasn’t made a massive song and dance about it just yet, its home page and a listing on the company’s international event page spill the beans. Local Xiaomi sites also confirm the lineup is landing simultaneously in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Chile, Saudi Arabia, and yes, right here in the Philippines. In fact, Xiaomi Philippines has already started teasing the arrival on social media, so it’s not a question of if, but when the exact release date is and how much.
Coming soon!
Before the global main course on the 15th, India is actually getting its first taste of the series tomorrow, Jan. 6. However, don’t get too jealous just yet. India’s launch seems focused initially on a specific “REDMI Note 15 5G Master Pixel Edition,” whereas our Jan. 15 event looks like the full-blown buffet with the entire Pro lineup in tow.
The lineup
Buckle up, we’re looking at five distinct models for the global market. And because it wouldn’t be a REDMI launch without some naming gymnastics, we have both 4G and 5G versions of the standard and Pro phones, plus a top-tier Pro+.
Here is the breakdown of what to expect, based on the specs we’ve seen from their August debut in China and recent listings in Europe.
- REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G
This is the big gun. If you want the best camera and the fastest charging, this is the one you look at.
Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4
Camera: 200MP “HPE” main sensor with 2x and 4x in-sensor zoom
Battery: 6,500mAh with 100-watt fast charging
Build: IP69K rating (that’s the highest tier of dust/water resistance) - REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G and REDMI Note 15 Pro 4G
Here is where it gets tricky. The 5G and 4G models aren’t just the same phone with different modems; they have entirely different brains.
Pro 5G: Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra. It packs a slightly larger 6,580mAh silicon-carbon battery and boasts IP68/IP69K protection.
Pro (4G): Runs on the MediaTek Helio G200-Ultra. It steps down slightly to IP65 water resistance but keeps a large 6,500mAh battery. - REDMI Note 15 5G and REDMI Note 15 4G
The entry-level options are no slouches, especially in the battery department.
Note 15 5G: Features the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, a 5,520mAh battery, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera.
Note 15 (4G): Uses the Helio G100-Ultra and actually has a larger 6,000mAh battery, though it swaps the ultrawide camera for a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
What about the price? Since the smartphones have already popped up in places like Poland and widely in China, we have some ballpark figures.
The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G has been spotted around €499 (roughly $583 or 34,333 Philippine pesos direct conversion). The REDMI Note Pro 5G sits about €399 ($466 or 27,453 Philippine pesos). And the base Note 15 5G floats near €279 ($326 or 19,196 Philippine pesos).
Note: European prices include high taxes, so other international pricing could be more competitive.
