Infinix‘s Nigerian arm has dropped a series of teasers on its social media channels for the upcoming Infinix NOTE 60 Pro. And while we’re still waiting on a concrete launch date, the details we have so far paint a picture of an ambitious smartphone that is aggressively targeting the midrange market.

It will arrive as the direct successor to the Infinix NOTE 50 Pro we reviewed last year. While Infinix Philippines hasn’t made a peep about it just yet, the timing of these teasers usually suggests a local arrival could be imminent. You may recall that the NOTE 50 Pro was priced at ₱11,999 (around $206), with a special “early bird” price of ₱9,999 ($172) at launch.

Joining the Pro is the Infinix NOTE Edge, which recently debuted as the world’s first smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100. The device also highlights a 1.5K curved AMOLED display. The company is already actively teasing the handset for the Philippine market, though local pricing and preorder details remain under wraps.

Anyhow, the Infinix NOTE 60 Pro feels like the showstopper. It’s packing a feature we haven’t seen from the brand before: a rear matrix LED display, embedded right into the camera island. It’s a bold design choice that adds a bit of retro-futuristic flair, and it reminds us of ASUS’ AniMe display on the ROG Phone models.

The phone will come in a Solar Orange colorway that looks similar to the Cosmic Orange finish on Apple iPhone 17 models. If orange isn’t your vibe, the classic black and green options are also on the table.

Under the hood, the Infinix NOTE 60 Pro is confirmed to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. That’s a solid step up in power over the previous generation, especially when you consider it’s being paired with a large 6,500mAh battery that supports 90-watt fast charging. It’s a combination that should easily handle heavy daily use without keeping you tethered to a wall outlet.

Other notable specs include a 144Hz 1.5K screen, a vapor-cooling chamber to regulate chipset temperature, and a 50-megapixel main camera.

So, where do you stand on Infinix’s latest swing for the midrange crown? Are you sold on the matrix display of the NOTE 60 Pro, or is that massive battery the real selling point here? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments.
