If you’ve been waiting for vivo‘s next play in the midrange arena, mark Feb. 28. vivo Philippines says the vivo V70 will make its local debut that day.
The Philippine launch will also bring a splash of pop culture. The company is teaming up with Pop Mart for a Zsiga‑themed collaboration, highlighted by a Golden Hour colorway. If that’s a bit loud for your taste, the phone will be available in Alpine Gray as well.
The vivo V70 is scheduled to hit India first on Feb. 19, launching alongside the higher‑end vivo V70 Elite with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 under the hood. But there’s still no word on whether the Elite will make it to local shelves. For now, the spotlight stays on the vanilla V70 — and thanks to some online digging, we already have a good idea of how much it will cost.
In the Philippines, the vivo V70 is expected to land with a suggested retail price of ₱31,999 (about $552). That’s a ₱5,000 ($87) bump over last year’s model. To soften the blow, the brand is dangling a preorder deal: Secure your unit with ₱500 ($9) and get a ₱2,000 ($35) discount.

Depending on the retailer, you might also get a couple of freebies, with some bundles offering a 10,000mAh power bank, a vivo VIP card, and vivo Buds Air 3 TWS earbuds.
Price hike aside, the spec sheet suggests vivo isn’t trying too hard this time around. Both Indian and Philippine listings show the standard V70 sticking with the same 6,500mAh battery as last year, paired with 90‑watt fast charging and a familiar Zeiss‑tuned camera setup front and back. Just like before, it carries three 50‑megapixel cameras plus an 8‑megapixel ultrawide. And it’s still powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.
Up front, you’re looking at a slightly smaller 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness rated at 5,000 nits. The chassis is expected to be rugged as well, carrying IP68 and IP69 certification for dust and water resistance.
