DITO Telecommunity, the country’s third telco, today unveiled new prepaid offers in time for the 123rd Philippine Independence Day on June 12.

Starting tomorrow until June 18th, DITO subscribers will be able to register for the following promos:

  • DITO 99
    • 10GB of uncapped data
    • Valid for 30 days
    • Unlimited texts to all networks
    • Unlimited DITO-to-DITO calls
    • 300 minutes of calls to other networks
    • Available via DITO app
  • DITO 499
    • Unlimited data (up to 5Mbps after reaching 2GB daily cap)
    • 2GB of uncapped data daily
    • Valid for 30 days
    • Unlimited texts to all networks
    • Unlimited DITO-to-DITO calls
    • 300 minutes of calls to other networks
    • Available via DITO store on Shopee and Lazada

The entry-level P99 (around $2) offer sounds like a great deal if you’re not a heavy user and you simply want to buy enough data to last you an entire month. The P499 ($10) unli-data deal is quite similar to offers from other telcos.

GOMO, an all-digital telco powered by Globe Telecom’s networks, for example, offers plenty of data, too, if you don’t mind the daily capping at 5Mbps. Smart Communications’ latest Magic Data, on the other hand, will give you 24GB of non-expiring data for just P399 ($8), while its unlimited 5G data costs P599 ($13) for 30 days.

As always, you’ll need a modern smartphone with VoLTE to use a DITO SIM card for calls and texts. You may want to check the company’s website to see if your device is compatible; most phones launched these days are.
