HONOR is about to drop a budget-friendly tablet in the Philippines.

According to the brand, the HONOR Pad X8a is arriving in the country soon, with preorders going live starting this October. In fact, if you get it between the 2nd and 9th from HONOR’s official store on Shopee, you’ll need to pay only P6,999 (around $125). Take note that the device’s suggested retail price is P7,999 ($143).

The HONOR Pad X8a is all about delivering a premium experience without breaking the bank. It’s designed to make catching up on your favorite series, for one, enjoyable with its huge, 11-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. Plus, the TÜV Rheinland low-blue-light and flicker-free certifications ensure your eyes stay protected during those late-night marathons.

The massive 8,300mAh battery promises long hours of entertainment — about 14 hours of local video playback with a 100% charge, HONOR claims. The quad-speaker setup with Hi-Res audio ensures crystal-clear sound for both work and play.

Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with the microSD card slot letting you expand storage up to a whopping 1TB. It runs on the latest Android 14 with MagicOS 8.0 on top. There’s a 5-megapixel camera on each side as well.

The HONOR Pad X8a looks good for an entry-level tablet. The company went all out with a sleek metal design that feels incredibly premium. But it won’t weigh you down, as it clocks in at a mere 7.25mm thin and 496 grams, making it perfect for carrying around in your bag.
