Here’s another one from Xiaomi. Four days after debuting the Redmi Turbo 4 in China, the company has dropped a budget smartphone on the global market. Say hello to the Redmi 14C 5G.

This device looks just like its 4G counterpart. The design is all about flat edges, rounded corners, and a camera bump that screams “style.” There are three available color variants — Stargaze Black, Stardust Purple, and Starlight Blue — but for us, the blue unit steals the show, its mesmerizing finish reminiscent of a star-studded night sky.

The Redmi 14C 5G boasts a massive 6.88-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, so scrolling through your feeds and playing games will be buttery-smooth. Xiaomi has thrown in some eye-care features like DC dimming and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification as well.

Powering the Redmi 14C 5G is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, which should be more than enough for everyday tasks and some light gaming. Plus, with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, you can multitask and download apps to your heart’s content.

And the camera? A 50-megapixel sensor is ready to capture your adventures, while an 8-megapixel one in the front is there for when you want to take selfies. To keep the fun going, Xiaomi has added a 5,160mAh battery with 18-watt fast charging. Rounding out the features are Android 14-based HyperOS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an FM radio, and an IP52 dust and splash resistance.

In India, the Redmi 14C 5G with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at ₹9,999 (roughly P6,770 or $117). The 6GB/128GB model, on the other hand, costs ₹11,999 (P8,128 or $140). There’s no word yet on its release in the Philippines, but we’ll update you as soon as we hear from Xiaomi.
