More than a week after dropping the budget-friendly HONOR 400 Lite, HONOR is signaling it’s ready to roll out the rest of its 400 series models onto the global market. The company has confirmed that the next wave of these phones will make their international debut soon, starting with Malaysia, a market HONOR specifically called out as key to its strategy in the South Pacific region.
While the brand is keeping the exact lineup and launch date close to its chest for now, promising more details on May 8, the grapevine is buzzing with expectations for two main contenders: the standard HONOR 400 and a potentially powerhouse HONOR 400 Pro. This follows the pattern set by the HONOR 400 Lite, which already made its appearance in Malaysia priced at RM1,299 (roughly P17,215 or $309 USD), packing features like a 108-megapixel camera and a dedicated physical AI button reminiscent of recent Apple iPhone shutter keys.
More HONOR 400 series launch details to be announced on May 8! Hopefully, this lineup will be released in the Philippines, too
Leaks suggest HONOR isn’t holding back with the upcoming models. Both devices are rumored to sport massive 200-megapixel main cameras, pushing the envelope for mobile photography in their respective segments. They’re also expected to share large 5,300mAh batteries, though charging speeds could be a key differentiator: rumors point to a respectable 66-watt for the standard version and a blazing-fast 100-watt for the Pro.
Under the hood, the differentiation is expected to continue. The regular HONOR 400 is tipped to run on Qualcomm’s solid midrange Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 5G chip, potentially paired with a 6.55-inch 1.5K OLED display boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits peak brightness. Leaks also claim an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance on this model, alongside a 12-megapixel ultrawide and a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
The HONOR 400 Pro, meanwhile, looks set to play in the big leagues. A recent Geekbench sighting seemingly confirmed it will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 5G processor, paired with at least 12GB of RAM and running Android 15 out of the box. Its screen is rumored to be a slightly larger 6.7-inch OLED with similar 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh-rate specs. Beyond the 200-megapixel main sensor, renders and rumors suggest the Pro will add a 50-megapixel telephoto lens to its camera array, alongside a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.

HONOR is emphasizing its “most powerful AI Imaging technology yet” for these upcoming smartphones, which will likely leverage that AI button seen on the Lite model for quick camera access and feature control.
With the HONOR 400 Lite already establishing the series’ presence, the confirmed global rollout of its more powerful siblings signals the brand’s ambition to compete across different price tiers. All eyes are now on May 8 for the official details that will fill in the gaps and confirm just how formidable the full HONOR 400 lineup will be.
