OPPO is officially bringing its latest tablet, the OPPO Pad SE, to the Philippines, with online availability kicking off today, May 26.
This new device, which feels like a successor to last year’s OPPO Pad Neo, arrives with a competitive suggested retail price of P9,999 (roughly $181). Even better, those who get the Pad SE on Shopee between May 26 and June 15 are in for a sweet deal, with a bunch of freebies waiting for them. We’re talking about a protective case worth P999 ($18), a P1,000 ($18) OPPO product voucher, a 10% Shopee voucher, and the option for 0% interest for six months through SPayLater, at P1,320 ($24) per month. Oh, and if you’re quick to post a review, you get a chance to score a free pair of OPPO Enco Buds2 valued at P2,999 ($54).
For those who prefer other online platforms, the tablet will also be available on Lazada and TikTok Shop starting June 16.
OPPO Philippines announces the availability of the OPPO Pad SE Wi-Fi model
The OPPO Pad SE aims to carve out its niche in the budget tablet segment, sporting a sleek, modern flat-frame design in Starlight Silver and Twilight Blue. It likewise packs a solid set of features designed for both work and play.
One of the most compelling aspects of the OPPO Pad SE is its endurance. It’s equipped with a large 9,340mAh battery, a figure that promises extended usage without constantly reaching for a charger. OPPO notes that this can translate to an impressive 800 days in Smart Power Saving mode, showcasing just how power-efficient this newly launched tablet can be. This is complemented by 33-watt fast charging, so when you do need to top up, it won’t take all day.
Then there’s the 11.4-inch LCD display, which features a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. OPPO has integrated “eye care” protection, along with an anti-reflective matte finish, aiming to make it more comfortable for prolonged reading or viewing sessions — a pretty neat detail for a tablet in this price range. Beyond hardware, OPPO is committing to long-term performance with 36-Month Fluency Protection, aiming to keep this running smoothly over time.
For those who are already embedded in the OPPO ecosystem, the Pad SE offers the ability to effortlessly connect and streamline workflows across devices. Features like O+ Connect facilitate seamless file transfers between OPPO devices and even iPhones. App Relay, Multi-Screen Connect, and Multi-Window Display further enhance multitasking, making it easier to pick up where you left off on another device or manage multiple applications simultaneously. Parents will also appreciate the Personalized Kids mode, allowing for controlled access and content management for younger users.
And in a nod to the growing importance of AI, the ColorOS 15-based OPPO Pad SE comes with Google Gemini integrated as its default AI assistant. Gemini is poised to offer intelligent assistance for daily tasks, planning, and content creation, adding a smart layer to the user experience.
Powering all of this is the MediaTek Helio G100 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. While it’s primarily a Wi-Fi-only device for the Philippine market, its focus remains on delivering a well-rounded experience.
