Look, not every phone needs to fold in half or cost as much as a used car. Sometimes, you just need a device that won’t die on you by lunchtime and can survive a tumble or two. Enter the realme C71, which has officially landed in the Philippines, and it’s making a compelling case for itself as a great budget-friendly workhorse. And yes, it’s running the latest Android 15 out of the box with realme’s own UI 6.0.
The realme C71 is available exclusively on TikTok Shop starting today, June 19, and for a limited time, you can get it in Midnight Lily or Lily White for an introductory price of ₱3,999 (roughly $70).
Right off the bat, the smartphone’s main bragging right is its massive 6,300mAh battery. That’s a lot of juice, promising multi-day usage without desperately searching for an outlet. In fact, realme is touting the tagline, “1-hour charge, 2-day use,” highlighting the efficiency of its 45-watt fast wired charging which should get you back in action pretty quickly.
Pricing and availability announced
But realme didn’t stop there, because the brand seems to have taken “durability” to heart with this one. The realme C71 boasts drop and water resistance, and it’s even built with ArmorShell construction, rated to survive drops from 1.5 meters. Plus, there’s a SonicWave Water Ejection system, which sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie, but apparently helps kick moisture out of the device. So, if you’re prone to butterfingers or just live a generally chaotic life, the C71 might be your new best friend.

On the display front, you’re getting a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. While it’s an HD+ screen, the inclusion of 725 nits of peak brightness means it should hold up reasonably well even under the bright Philippine sun. Powering the show is a 12nm Unisoc T7250 4G processor, paired with a Mali-G57 GPU. You’ll find it with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.
There’s a 50-megapixel AI-backed main camera on the rear here, along with a 5-megapixel front camera for your selfie needs. Don’t expect computational photography wizardry, but for everyday shots, it should get the job done. And for security and convenience, there’s a side fingerprint reader.
