ASUS recently rolled out the red carpet for the latest iteration of its mainstream ASUS Vivobook S16 series in the Philippines.
This time around, the Taiwan-based company introduced four new variants on the local market, with the highlight being a version powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X processor sporting an NPU that can hit an impressive 45 TOPS in demanding workloads. That’s a whole lot of AI horsepower ready to make your workflow faster and smoother than ever.
It gets better: ASUS is promising up to 32 hours of battery life on the Snapdragon X-based Vivobook (S16 S3607QA-PL003WSM). Yes, you read that right. This machine is designed to keep you productive for days, not just hours — all while being portable. You’re looking at a premium, compact Matte Gray design that’s a mere 1.59cm thick and weighs in at a commendable 1.74 kilograms, wrapped in a military-grade chassis.
Locally, the Vivobook 16 with a Snapdragon X processor, paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of PCIe 4.0 storage, is priced at P50,995 ($889). It’s available at ASUS stores and official retail partners nationwide. All 2025 Vivobook S AI laptops come with some sweet extras. You’ll get an exclusive ASUS Backpack, lifetime access to Office Home 2024, and a one-year Microsoft 365 Basic subscription. On top of those bundles, the brand is also throwing in its own service package, which includes a two-year international coverage and a one-year accidental damage warranty.

As the name suggests, this laptop boasts a 16-inch WQXGA 2.5K 16:10 144Hz display that promises vivid details that will make content creation, sharing, and streaming a feast for your eyes. Pair that with Snapdragon Sound and Dolby Atmos audio, and you’re looking at a rich, cinematic soundscape to complement the visuals on the screen.
According to ASUS Philippines business development manager Harisson Cheng, the company captured a whopping 66% of the Philippine Copilot+ PC market share in Q1 2025. This quarter, the mission is clear: Make AI laptops even more accessible by pushing the latest Vivobook S series into broader market segments.
In case you’re not familiar, Copilot+ PCs are Windows 11 devices that integrate AI-powered features directly into the user experience. Think of it this way: You get Copilot for instant AI help, Click-to-Do to make multitasking a breeze, and Recall to keep track of your time and files. And with a dedicated Copilot key, all that AI power is just a click away.
ASUS Philippines’ press release
But ASUS isn’t just relying on Copilot, either. It packed the Vivobook S16 with its own suite of AI apps, including StoryCube, designed to automate the way you organize your media files, Adaptive Dimming for the display, and AI Noise Cancellation. And with a hefty 70Wh battery promising long-lasting battery life on a charge, ASUS’ Snapdragon X-powered Vivobook S16 refresh is clearly built for multi-day, unplugged productivity.
And for your peace of mind, ASUS claims security isn’t an afterthought here. The Vivobook S16 is loaded with features like a physical webcam privacy shield and Windows Hello for super easy, secure logins. You also get ASUS Adaptive Lock, plus a Microsoft Pluton security processor. That last one is a pretty big deal — it’s essentially a secure chip built right into the CPU, making sure your system’s code is always intact and giving you the very latest protection with updates.
If you’re looking for different options, the ASUS Vivobook S16 also comes with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 (Series 2) processor, with prices for that model starting at P45,995 ($802). And for those who prefer AMD, there’s also a version built around the AMD Ryzen 7 260, which includes a 16-TOP NPU, priced at P55,995 ($976). So you’ve got a few choices depending on your preferred chipmaker and budget.
