Diving into the hardware
The GT 30 Pro is the third iteration in Infinix’s gaming-centric GT series. This smartphone is built for stable, high-frame-rate gaming, boasting an All-Day 120 Full FPS System and the unique GT Trigger. We’ve had our hands on it, and you’ll want to watch for our full review, which will be posted later today, June 22.
Gone are the sharper lines of its predecessor; the Infinix GT 30 Pro embraces a smoother, more rounded design while retaining the company’s signature mecha-inspired aesthetic. The 6.78-inch AMOLED display remains flat but gets a bump to a sharper 1.5K resolution and a claimed peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It still delivers that 144Hz refresh rate.
Perhaps the most significant physical upgrade, and a welcome one at this price point, is the inclusion of capacitive left and right shoulder triggers. They’re integrated seamlessly into the unit’s frame, offering precise, low-latency input that can be customized for everything from quick map access in MOBAs to precise aiming in FPS titles.
Under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate, a processor typically found in more expensive sub-flagship devices. Built on an efficient 4nm process, this chipset, coupled with up to 24GB of extended RAM, promises a fast, lag-free experience. Infinix has even received official 120 FPS certifications for popular titles like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Call of Duty Mobile, and PUBG Mobile.
Beyond raw power, the Infinix GT 30 Pro includes a Gaming Master Edition bundle with a MagCharge Cooler and MagCase for enhanced cooling and efficiency during extended play. The smartphone also features Mechanical Light Waves, a dynamic RGB lighting system on the back that reacts to in-game actions, calls, and notifications, adding a touch of esports flair. For an immersive experience, you get X-Haptics 4D vibration, Audio Boost, and Game Visual Boost, all managed within the XArena Game Space.
Infinix Philippines’ press release
The camera system sees a welcome reduction in module size, featuring a 108-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide, and a 13-megapixel front shooter, complemented by the brand’s One-Tap AI tools for quick edits and content creation. Battery-wise, a 5,500mAh cell supports 45-watt wired and 30-watt wireless charging, with Bypass Charging 2.0 to protect battery health during gaming. Running on the refreshed XOS 15, this model promises two years of Android updates and three years of security patches.
“As mobile esports rises globally, Infinix is proud to deliver a device built for passionate players,” said Infinix Philippines marketing manager Jelly Buan. “From stable high frame rates to smart controls, the GT 30 Pro is our most complete gaming flagship yet — battle-tested in international esports tournaments. It truly lets players get their Win Streak mode on.”
Accompanying the GT 30 Pro is the Infinix XPAD GT, expanding the brand’s GT VERSE gaming ecosystem beyond smartphones and laptops. The gaming-focused tablet packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip, a 13-inch 2.8K 144Hz screen, 8-speaker 3D surround sound, and a big 10,000mAh battery with 33-watt Super Charge. Its all-metal, ultra-slim 6.5mm design makes it surprisingly portable for its size, at least on paper, blending entertainment with productivity thanks to Infinix AI and support for optional keyboard and stylus accessories.
