After making its rounds in other Asian markets, the vivo X200 FE is finally launched in the Philippines. This compact powerhouse is now available for preorder, bringing flagship-level specs and a hefty battery to a more pocket-friendly form factor.
For those eager to get their hands on vivo‘s latest, the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant is priced at P44,999 (roughly $786). While the official availability kicks off on July 26, you can secure yours until July 25 through preorders. And because who doesn’t love freebies, the company is bundling in some tempting extras: a pair of vivo TWS 3e earbuds worth P1,999 ($35), a vivo VIP card valued at a solid P10,000 ($175), and a vivo Life item worth P1,299 ($23).
As we noted in our earlier coverage, the X200 FE is essentially a global rebrand of the vivo S30 Pro mini that launched in China. What makes this device interesting is its commitment to a smaller footprint in a world of ever-growing smartphones. It rocks a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a claimed 5,000-nit peak brightness.

Underneath that vibrant screen, vivo has crammed in a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus, a chip usually found in more imposing flagships. This means you’re getting serious horsepower, especially when paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the software side, it runs Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15.
Perhaps the most surprising aspect for a phone this size is the vivo X200 FE’s massive 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. The brand claims this translates to 25 hours of continuous YouTube playback or a solid 9.5 hours of gaming. And when you do need to top up, the included 90-watt fast charger promises to take you from zero to 100% in a swift 57 minutes. Plus, the whole metal-clad affair is IP68/69-certified, so it can handle a splash or some dust.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the Zeiss-backed camera system. You’re looking at a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization or OIS, complemented by a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide. For your selfies, there’s a 50-megapixel shooter up front.
If you’re in the market for a new smartphone that punches above its weight without stretching your pockets that much (literally and figuratively), the vivo X200 FE might just be worth a closer look. It’s just unfortunate that the more vibrant pink and yellow colorways aren’t released locally.
