You still have time to buy the vivo X Fold5 at a lower cost, thanks to an exclusive promotion that drops its price by as much as P21,500 (roughly $378) just less than two weeks after its launch. The deal makes the first foldable from vivo in Southeast Asia an even more compelling option for those looking to experience a flagship device with a massive folding screen.

The X Fold5 officially retails in the Philippines for P109,999 ($1,934), but you can currently get it on Shopee for P88,499 ($1,556), a massive discount of nearly 20%, until August 31. That lowered price is only available with certain shop and platform vouchers. But even without the vouchers, the smartphone is still cheaper on the e-commerce platform at a promo price of P99,999 ($1,758).

Huge discount on Shopee until August 31!

Considering the vivo X Fold5 is still being offered at its original SRP in vivo concept stores nationwide, the Shopee deal is a pretty sweet one if you’re looking to own a big-screen foldable with top-of-the-line specs. It’s a powerhouse that’s equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 5G chipset paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X-Ultra RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The device runs on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15.

The camera system is equally impressive. Co-engineered with ZEISS, the X Fold5 features a professional-grade setup on the rear, composed of a 50-megapixel main, 50-megapixel periscope telephoto, and 50-megapixel ultrawide. The telephoto even offers 3x optical zoom and 100x HyperZoom. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 20-megapixel camera on both the main and cover screens.

Both the 8.03-inch main foldable screen and the 6.53-inch cover display use LTPO OLED technology with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. This means you can view content clearly even under direct sunlight.

vivo also claims the device is a “new era of light and strong foldable.” It weighs just 217g, which is light for a foldable, and the company says its kinematic hinge can withstand 600,000 folds. The X Fold5 also has an IP5X dust resistance rating and IPX8 and IPX9 water resistance, so it should be able to handle a bit of rough use. Keeping all of this running is a 6,000mAh battery with support for 80-watt dual-cell fast charging and 40-watt wireless charging.
