The deal makes the first foldable from vivo in Southeast Asia an even more compelling option for those looking to experience a flagship device with a massive folding screen.
The X Fold5 officially retails in the Philippines for P109,999 ($1,934), but you can currently get it on Shopee for P88,499 ($1,556), a massive discount of nearly 20%, until August 31. That lowered price is only available with certain shop and platform vouchers. But even without the vouchers, the smartphone is still cheaper on the e-commerce platform at a promo price of P99,999 ($1,758).
Considering the vivo X Fold5 is still being offered at its original SRP in vivo concept stores nationwide, the Shopee deal is a pretty sweet one if you’re looking to own a big-screen foldable with top-of-the-line specs. It’s a powerhouse that’s equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 5G chipset paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X-Ultra RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The device runs on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15.
The camera system is equally impressive. Co-engineered with ZEISS, the X Fold5 features a professional-grade setup on the rear, composed of a 50-megapixel main, 50-megapixel periscope telephoto, and 50-megapixel ultrawide.
