The Infinix GT 30 Pro already made a splash when it landed in the Philippines back in June, but now its non-Pro sibling, the Infinix GT 30, is set to join the party.

(Update: The Infinix GT 30 has gone on sale in the Philippines!)

While it might seem a little odd for the base model to show up months after the Pro version, Infinix — which, according to the latest IDC data, achieved the largest quarter-on-quarter shipment increase in Southeast Asia in the second quarter of 2025 — has confirmed it’s happening.

In a recent social media post, the company announced that the Infinix GT 30 will officially launch next week, on September 24. While the teaser is light on details, we have a good idea of what to expect since the phone has already been released in other markets.

Take Malaysia, for instance, where the device sells for RM1,099 (around $238 or P13,562 converted) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model and comes in three colors — blue, gray, and green. By comparison, the Infinix GT 30 Pro debuted in the Philippines with a P13,999 ($246) starting price for the same amount of memory. That said, expect the standard version will come with a more budget-friendly price tag — possibly around P10,000 ($176) for its introductory offer.

Visually, the Infinix GT 30 shares some key features with its Pro counterpart, including a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and an under-display fingerprint reader. It also has capacitive shoulder triggers, an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, and a dynamic LED lighting system on the back.

For taking pictures and videos, the smartphone packs a 64-megapixel main image sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens in a rectangular camera module, while a 13-megapixel shooter handles selfies. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, kept cool by Infinix’s 3D Vapor Cloud Chamber Cooling system. A large 5,500mAh battery with 45-watt wired and bypass charging keeps the lights on.

On paper, the Infinix GT 30 appears to be a slightly toned-down version of the Pro variant, with a different main camera, a less powerful chipset, and no wireless charging. But here’s the good news: The core gaming features that made its sibling so appealing — like bypass charging, the shoulder triggers, and that extra-fast AMOLED panel — remain intact.
