DJI has just pulled back the curtain on its newest wearable camera, and it’s a tiny powerhouse designed to capture your adventures from a first-person perspective without you even noticing it’s there. Dubbed the DJI Osmo Nano, this ultracompact camera offers professional-level image quality and versatile shooting modes in a body that weighs about the same as a deck of playing cards.
The Osmo Nano, weighing just 52g, is all about being effortlessly wearable. Its clever dual-sided magnetic design lets you clip it to a hat, a helmet, or a shirt collar, making it a true hands-free solution for creators on the go. Whether you’re a vlogger, a sports enthusiast, or just someone who wants to document life from a fresh perspective, the device’s magnetic mounts make it easy to start recording in seconds.
While the size is its most immediate claim to fame, the DJI Osmo Nano’s real magic is in its image-making capabilities. It features a next-gen 1/1.3-inch sensor that captures visuals with up to 13.5 stops of dynamic range — a rarity in a camera this size. You can shoot crisp 4K/60fps video, or capture dramatic, cinematic slow-motion with 4K/120fps. And for those who love to tinker in post-production, the camera’s 10-bit and D-Log M color performance gives you the flexibility to color grade your footage to perfection. DJI’s HorizonBalancing and RockSteady 3.0 stabilization also ensure your shots stay smooth and level, no matter how bumpy the ride gets.

Adding to its versatility is the Multifunctional Vision Dock. The accessory is a remote control, a charging station, and a high-speed file transfer hub all in one. The camera magnetically attaches to the dock, allowing you to easily switch between horizontal and vertical shooting, perfect for creating content for both YouTube and TikTok. The dock can fast-charge the camera to 80% in just 20 minutes, and the camera itself can record up to 200 minutes of 1080p/24fps video on a full charge.
The Osmo Nano isn’t just for land-based exploits; it’s also waterproof up to 10 meters without any additional housing. And when you want to take your audio game to the next level, its dual-built-in microphones are said to deliver clear stereo sound. The OsmoAudio Direct Microphone Connection even allows you to connect two DJI microphone transmitters directly without a receiver.
For creators looking for creative freedom, the device offers features like Gesture Control, which lets you start recording with a simple nod, and Pre-Rec, which automatically saves footage from just before you hit the record button.
