Infinix is back with another gaming-focused release for the Philippine market.

Following the local launch of the popular Infinix GT 30 Pro, the company is introducing a slightly toned-down version of its gaming phone, the Infinix GT 30, with a price tag that’s (unsurprisingly) easier on the wallet.

The new Infinix GT 30 is now officially available in the Philippines for P11,999 (around $207) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. But, as we’ve come to expect from the brand, it’s kicking things off with a special launch price. For a limited time, you can buy it for just P10,499 ($181) on the company’s official stores on Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok. As a bonus, early buyers will also get a complimentary GT 30 MagCooling Fan, though this is only while supplies last.

We’ve already spent some time with the Infinix GT 30 Pro, which we reviewed back in June, and it’s worth noting the price difference here. The Pro model costs P13,999 ($240) for the same RAM and storage configuration. If you’re on the fence, we’d say the extra P2,000 ($34) is well worth it for the Pro. The MediaTek Dimensity 8350 inside the Pro is a beast of a near-flagship chip that significantly outperforms the standard GT 30. That alone is a strong reason to justify the higher price. Plus, you get a better main camera sensor — at least on paper — along with convenient wireless charging.

As for the regular Infinix GT 30, it comes in four colorways, namely Cyber Blue, Pulse Green, Shadow Ash, and Blade White. The smartphone likewise carries over some key features from its Pro sibling, including the 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a super-smooth 144Hz refresh rate and an under-display fingerprint sensor. You’ll find capacitive shoulder triggers as well, plus an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and dynamic LED lighting on the back.

Under the hood, the Infinix GT 30 is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, kept cool by Infinix’s 3D Vapor Cloud Chamber Cooling system. Keeping the lights on is a pretty sizable 5,500mAh battery that supports 45-watt wired and bypass charging. For photos and videos, the device sports a 64-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide, while selfies are handled by a 13-megapixel shooter.
