Anker SOLIX arrives in PH to fight soaring power bills, El Niño

Anker is officially bringing its clean energy division, Anker SOLIX, to the Philippines through a strategic partnership between distributor NAVCO and solar engineering firm GoSolar.

The timing couldn’t be better, too, especially with utility rates sitting near the top of Southeast Asia — holding the second-highest rate in the region, according to NAVCO president Ryan Tan — alongside the looming threat of a severe El Niño straining an already fragile power grid.

Anker’s portable power station lineup starts with the compact SOLIX C300 DC priced at ₱12,990 (around $206), and the AC variant costs ₱15,990 ($254). Stepping up to mid-tier and heavy-duty backup, the SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 retails for ₱39,990 ($635), while the high-capacity SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 goes for ₱61,990 ($984). The entire roster is now available across official Anker physical stores, Lazada, Shopee, and authorized dealer networks nationwide.

Looking at the specs sheet, the C300 DC offers a 288Wh capacity across seven ports with a 300-watt max output and 140-watt two-way fast charging. The C300 AC, on the other hand, retains that portable layout while adding built-in AC outlets with a 300-watt rated output that scales to 600 watts using SurgePad, a proprietary power-management feature that lets the unit run higher-wattage devices than its rated continuous output.

For more demanding requirements, the C1000 Gen 2 upgrades to a 1,024Wh capacity, pushing 2,000 watts of total AC output via durable LiFePO4 cells and HyperFlash fast recharging. At the top of the portable tier sits the C2000 Gen 2, packing a heavy-duty 2,048Wh capacity — expandable up to 4,096Wh — with 2,400 watts of rated AC output and an 800-watt max solar input to handle major appliances during extended outages.

Meanwhile, residential-grade power stations like the flagship Anker SOLIX XE Hybrid and SOLIX SolarBank 4 are available via custom quotes from professionals.

The SOLIX XE Hybrid targets whole-home management by acting as a 2-in-1 hybrid inverter and storage system. It features a plug-and-stack modular design, allowing users to easily scale their setup up to 42kWh without messy external wiring. We’re told a typical setup is capable of generating up to 9,300kWh annually when paired with eight to ten solar panels. That output translates to nearly ₱81,000 ($1,286) in yearly savings based on current Manila utility rates, putting this installation on track for a three-year return-on-investment window. Even better, it functions as a UPS, boasting a 0ms switchover time that delivers instant backup power the moment the grid fails.

For those living in an apartment or smaller space and want to get started with solar, the Anker SOLIX SolarBank 4 acts as a much more accessible entry point. It works as a 2-in-1 smart solar hub and off-grid generator that feeds stored power directly into your home’s circuits. It’s stackable as well, letting you scale up to 30kWh of capacity. Best of all, if a rolling blackout hits, the built-in emergency outlet activates with a quick 10ms switchover, ensuring your groceries stay cold and your essentials keep running.
