Finally, we have new iPhones to talk about, or salivate over until their local release. Apple today announced four upgraded iPhones alongside a revamped Apple Watch Series 7 and the new entry-level Apple iPad and sixth-gen iPad mini, which is essentially an 8-inch iPad Air featuring an A15 Bionic processor that also powers the iPhone 13 lineup.

Apple has unveiled a bunch of new and exciting products, including Apple Silicon-powered iPad Pro models, Apple TV 4K with a next-gen Siri remote and A12 Bionic internals, and Apple AirTag, a small circular tag that will allow you to track items within the Find My app on your iPhone or iPad. Oh, the American tech giant also introduced a purple finish for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini and updated the M1 Mac mini with an optional 10 Gigabit Ethernet port.

iPhone 12 chip beats Snapdragon 888 in benchmarks

Qualcomm announced its flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset earlier this month, and the 5nm chip is expected to power many of tomorrow’s top-end devices — some variants of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 series included. Xiaomi, OPPO, and Realme will launch their own Snapdragon 888-based devices as well.

Redmi’s official account on Chinese social platform Weibo has shared a market-research firm’s report on the bestselling smartphones in the first half of 2020. This, as it announced earlier that worldwide sales of the Redmi Note series exceeded 1.4 billion units, seemingly a buildup to the Redmi Note 9 lineup’s upcoming launch in China.
